Travis Sago provides some great low-cost affiliate marketing training. But by far the best way to learn the affiliate game is to just jump in and start learning through experience. Choose a focused niche/product... build a simple site (HTML or WordPress)... and begin promoting it. You'll learn more in 3 months than you would in 3 years of reading affiliate marketing books.

I think to start off you dont needa program ...
Just start looking around the forum and you will find so much info ...

The best way to train urself is to get your hands dirty ...
Start a small website and whenever you have some problem you can always post here and lots of people will be willing to help you ... it will take time but it is far more better than going for a training program i think ...

    Best of luck

I have also heard good thing about chris farrell but never have taken his course. I would suggest just getting info from warrior forum and dive in and start testing. It takes time to learn the game but there is no good or bad way to do this stuff every market and every product is going to need to be tested to get results

I highly recommend "The Super Affiliate Handbook" by Rosalind Gardner. My online venture all started from reading that book. It's full of good information on how to get started online with affiliate marketing. Cheers! =)

Check out the War room here at WF. Lots of basic stuff there. Also, check out the blogs being promoted on sigs here. Click around and add them to your RSS reader. You'd be surprised at what you can learn.

The best way to learn IM is via trial and error, you will have many fails before a success, but when you do find something that works, STICK AT IT, dont leave it.. When that no longer works then its time to find something else.

The WF is a great place to find a lot of info. Look into becoming an affiliate for Amazon it's not too hard to learn. You could set up some product review sites fairly quickly.
I found it to be a good starting point.
      All the best.

    Hi....

The very first thing that you should do is become a War Room Member. Sure its a few bucks, but it is PACKED.....and I mean PACKED with information. And a lot of it isn't the free PLR stuff that you see all over the internet. Along with powerfully-informative threads started by senior Warriors, but many of the WSOs products end up being offered to War Room Members for no additional cost. It's such a sweet deal.

After that, set aside a specific amount of time for research and reading. Read through a few different affiliate marketing methods, and then choose the one that best suits your goals and personality.

The STICK TO YOUR PLANS. Too many newbies give up WAY too soon. It takes time to see results. You can't pudder around for a few afternoons and expect to make an ongoing income. You have to take intelligent actions OVER TIME.

Come back to the Warrior Forum every now and then for moral support and as a source for answers. But DON'T spend too much time here. And trust me, it is very easy to sit and read thread after thread. Which is fine once in a while. But many "internet marketers" are really just people who like to read and discuss internet marketing topics. Which is fine and dandy unless you want to generate income.

    Much Success,

You will want to choose a mentor that you can follow so that you will be able to learn the right knowledge and take the right action. Once you have decided on the model that you are going to focus, you will want to make sure that you stick to it. Most people are not getting results because they are simply not focusing on one model at a time.

It might seems expensive on the short term to get a mentor to guide you but it is the best investment because you will be avoiding making unnecessary mistakes and wasting time.

  • Best way to learn is to JUMP IN and give it a go. You can read stuff on the topic all you want, but until you start--you won't really learn anything.

There are lot's of free ebook about affiliate marketing and if you are complete newbie should consider that option. Later you can start to search for more accurate one, paid course if you like to but according me you can learn a lot from free stuff only.
Once when you knock on affiliate marketing main door, all others will open by itself...

Affiliate marketing is no different from promoting your own product. Build a list, email them often, insert your cloaked affiliate link, profit. Make sure you get your very own customized website too... don't use URL shorteners or straight-up ugly affiliate links.

First get a general overview of what internet marketing is all about. Searching through a forum may take time. An easier way would be to look for "free internet marketing eBook" on Google. You will find plenty of brief reports with which you can become familiar with the different forms of internet marketing.

Next choose an area of IM that you think you will be comfortable with and pursue that form of marketing by doing research specific to it and then taking action.

If you go to the Warrior Special Offers section you will find free and paid offers that pertain to different areas of marketing. If you see any that suits you and has received a lot of positive feedback you can buy it and increase your knowledge and skill. You may even find free WSOs which you can make use of without paying anything.

    Hello Adroman21,

Free, quality information: Read the free articles and ebooks you can about affiliate marketing. Also, sign up to some email marketers' lists and watch how they promote other people's products. Note HOW they do it, not necessarily what they tell you about affiliate marketing. Some, even many, will tell you how it's done, but some won't. The key is to watch and observe what they're doing.

You especially want to pay attention to those that constantly do well in affiliate contests, which are sometimes mentioned by those with product launches (especially the large product launches) - they'll usually have "leaderboards" and such. Pay attention to the ones who are constantly at or near the top in most of those "contests" - get onto their lists and see how they promote other people's products - that is a major key for your success, and best of all, it's free (in terms of money - it will take time for you to see how they go about the process). Of course, you shouldn't use their exact emails, but get an idea of how they write their emails, how often they send out those emails, what products they promote, etc.

As for paid sources, I'd recommend the Warrior Forum, especially the War Room, Allan Gardyne, and Rosalind Gardner.

Hope this helps - good luck!

    Take care,

    Joe Chengery

    Hi.
Finding a good mentor was crucial for me. I learned the hard way, spend thousands of dollars on get rich programs.
There are a lot of good wso`s.Just go through them and look at the reviews.

No matter what method you decide to do consistency is the key. When you have found a GOOD and PROVEN method stick with it no matter what. Think in the long terms when you are building your business.

There is so much information out there that you will not have a problem finding out the mechanics. As far as a mentor is concerned a lot of people will have different experiences with different people, some good, some bad, the main thing is learn what it's about, test the water yourself first, hang around the forum and see/read what people are saying!

As for courses I would recommend Forever Affiliate, Bring the Fresh or Google Sniper 2.0.

I'd pick just ONE guide and then master it. Put what you learn into action and don't let yourself get distracted. It will take time to master it and you'll most likely have some failures before you start making money. But if you stick with it and keep at it and take massive action, you will start making money!

I bought some books off the kindle store that cover the basics of affiliate marketing. It did help me in choosing the right niche and looking for the right market but it didn't prepare me for how much hair pulling and hard work was involved. I think just doing it is another way of learning.

I would like to advise you don't go for paid course, rather gain knowledge from this forum. You can get some course from 'War Room'. There many Youtube video you can see. After that you can select your paid course yourself!

The system I used was Mike Filsame "no cost profit stream" the course was like $15, and teaches you how to use a bunch of free tools to get an affiliate marketing site up.

It's been a great low-risk kind of way to learn the ropes, but you mostly learn stuff from just doing it. I can still count my sales on one hand but it's something.

You could also just look at top hitting sites for affiliate products, see what they do.
