Can anyone look at my article and see if there is anything that I need to tightned up with. It's tailored around the New York City travel niche. I have already submitted it to get indexed.

Yeah, you have dodgy characters in it. It sounds okay, but then again, I don't know exactly what you're trying to achieve with it?

What do you mean by dodgy characters in it. I am trying to get readers to understand what makes New York entertainment different from those other party cities that i mentioned.

It means look at the characters in the article, there screwed up. Anyway, what does it matter, you just linked to your article from warrior forum for a link...try to be more creative and not waste peoples time.

    Hi,

Please state on what's exactly the meaning of the paragraph direct to the point. :-)
Seems like ambiguous but it's okay. :-)

Suggestions (listed here in the order in which they appear in the text) ...
    • "so called" should be hyphenated
    • "deep spending pockets" don't exist: people, not pockets, are spenders - you're mixing up two metaphors here, "big spending" and "deep pockets"
    • there are strange characters, like "monthsâ₉„¢ vacation"
    • there are some missing apostrophes
    • you should substititute "plan" for "plain" in the phrase "plain accordingly"
    • there's no such thing as "most highest": just "highest" will do
    • "cost of living expenses" is tautologous: you could say either "cost of living" or "living expenses"
    • "is it all nothing about bunch of hype" isn't right at all: I think you mean "is it all nothing but a bunch of hype"?
    • there should be a paragraph break between "single adults" and "one of the top attractions"
    • you should substitute "for" for "with" before the words "every type of crowd" at the start of the last paragraph
    • the "bit.ly" link at the end is extremely inadvisable: it makes no sense to depend on the continued survival and reliability of an unnecessary third-party service hosted in Libya: The .ly domain space to be considered unsafe | :Ben Metcalfe Blog
I don't mean it impolitely at all, but it seems very unlikely that anyone whose first language is English is going to syndicate this article from GoArticles. It's not altogether clear that a native English-speaker is actually going to be willing even to read it all the way through (with apologies, I admit I wouldn't have done so, under normal circumstances ).

It also seems far too short, and completely lacking in any original or interesting content. If an article's boring, it becomes pretty academic what else is wrong with it, because it can't attract any traffic anyway.

For all the reasons explained in this post, no article marketer would want potential customer traffic coming to his own site from an article directory.

I'm wondering whether you quite appreciate the purpose of article directories, and what benefits you can/can't get from submitting your articles to them? Maybe this thread will help you out: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

You've started a thread under the title "Article Marketing" but what you've asked isn't apparently about article marketing: it's about article directory marketing - something very different, and a largely defunct business model, I'm afraid.

I'm not going to be as polite as Alexa was. That article is a piece of crap. It's full of spelling errors, grammatical errors and devoid of real content.

You could have said the same thing in one short sentence:

New York is a cool place to visit, but it's expensive.

As a publisher myself, I can't imagine any self-respecting publisher to pick up this so-called article. At best, you might pick up some low-value backlinks from scraper sites.

I don't mean to be cruel, but sometime the best thing is to simply rip the bandage off and get the hurt over with.
