This particular site is a dating website, so if the visitor joins the website they have to sign up to wordpress to gain access to the dating site area.

It depends on which autoresponder/service you are using. You can always approach your software developer to see if they support such plugin.

Or if you are not using any autoresponder, then search in Wordpress plugins site to install a free autoresponder plugin.

My new software will do this but it is not on the market yet. However, I created a software years ago that will allow you to collect the subscriber information and send the data to your autoresponder. It will also send the data to your wordpress signup.

I will have to find it and put it on my server so you can download it. I will try to get it done by tomorrow some time and I will post the link in this thread.

Oh im so camping here..

I was thinking about this for so long, but never tot it was possible

Currently i think im just gonna make them sign up 2ice..

Once they register for the membership site, it will bring them to a page to ask them to sign up for the newsletter or something like updates.

Or get an autoresponder that allow you to transfer list.

I wanted to add a little more information about the software I will post here tomorrow.

It will only transfer first name, last name and email address.

It is an exe program and I created it 9 or 10 years ago, so I have to make sure it will run in the newer windows OS.

I will test and post it tomorrow.

I know there used to be a couple of free plugins in the wordpress repository that would automate this. just type your autoresponder provider's name & see if they have a plugin.

The other option. S2Member has integration for this.

I found the software and I don't think it will work for your application as it uses the email address of the autoresponder to send the data to the autoresponder.

This would work for most autoresponders but I don't know if it will work for the wordpress application.

Also this was written for a product I called the EZ-Marketing Kit. It actually creates a squeeze page that gives away and epackage and signs people up to different autoresponder campaigns.

This was created before windows XP service pack 2 was released. The ebook that goes with this product will no longer function since this security release. So I have no instructions to include with this software.

So I won't be able to supply a link to the software at this time.

Thanks for trying anyway.

I did find a way to do it using mail chimp, and premium plugin from WPMU Dev.

The plugin automatically syncs your wordpress sites subscribers to a designated email list in mail chimp.

Inside mail chimp you can setup an autoresponder for the list.

You have WYSIJA that is a Wordpress based autoresponder. So that's one way of doing what you have in mind.

Or you can you use a plugin that creates web forms that create a user account in Wordpress and send details to the autoresponder at the same time.

Hybrid Connect does this (disclosure: I am a developer for this plugin).

There are probably some free plugins, too, that do this, but can't think of any off the top of my head.

It's been said a bunch of times on this forum. Stay away from self hosted auto responders and use a premium service like aweber, getresponse or mailchimp.

If you go with a plugin you'll most likely have delivery issues, blacklisting problems and a whole raft of other issues that mass mailing can bring.

Stick with the pros who spend thousands each month making sure your mails end stay out of the junk folder.
