Recommendations on where to sell a site with a big sign up list?

Hi All,

I am considering selling a blog / site I built which is a couple of years old. It has PR of 1 and a simple popular wordpress plugin that I developed for amazon affiliates which has a list sign up. The list is now 26,000+ and growing with zero effort from my side. The list is all people in internet marketing (amazon). If someone promoted it more I am sure it would grow at a much faster rate. I just don't have the time or motivation to market to the list as I am to busy with other things now outside of IM.

Only minus would be the blog has not been updated for quite a while (last year), but it still has quite a bit of original content.

What do you think? Flippa? or are there some better options?

Cheers,
Luke

You can easily sell that on flippa, have you made money promoting to the list?
If you haven't I can give a few ways on how you can.

I would say go to Flippa but update the site, the blog and spend a bit of time focusing on that before listing it. People buy based on potential all the time and this would be no exception.

    I agree on Flippa.

Maybe you should try and send out a real targeted email just to see what the response rate and clickthrough is, buyers on Flippa love Stats :-)

If you can make a few sales all the better!

Make sure you have Google analytics installed as well, or some type of analytics.

Yes flippa is the place to sell your site.

However, if you want to sell it for good money you'll need to have proof of income. So what you better do is do some mailings to that list and see if you can earn some dollars. Take screenshots with the date etc and then list it. Might make a big difference because people are very suspicious on flippa, and just saying you have a list of 26000 won't create a bidding war

Can you show us what the site is, so we can check it out?
