JVZOO Vendor Experience?

Anyone here has a Vendor product on JVZOO?
We are considering adding a product there (non IM related) and would love any kind of feedback from existing vendors on JVZOO.
Especially how it compares to Clickbank in terms of active affiliates
and refund control

    Clickbank has a compulsory 60 day no questions asked refund policy and they process the refunds on your behalf. JVZoo allows you to set your own refund policy and you look after and process your own refunds.

    I think there are more active affiliates in JVZoo because it offers instant Paypal commissions as opposed to Clickbank where you only get paid every week or so.

    Everyone has their own experiences with JVZOO. My experience was not all that great. The first week I ended up having to track down fraudulent affiliates, and from there spent most of the next few weeks trying to distinguish the legit affiliate requests from the not so legit. Eventually the heachaches of me and my admin staff having to deal with this, lead to us simply pulling about 12 products from JVZOO and not using them. But hey, thats just our experience. It seems popular with IMers and the like.

      The basic rule of thumb with any affiliate platforms like Warrior Plus or JV Zoo is to never approve any affiliates you do not know or trust.

      That's what I do and I never have any issues.

      Sure, you won't have as many affiliates but 90%+ of all affiliates never make a sale or only ever make 1-2 sales. The real affiliates you want are not the ones going through requesting random products. They are the people you build relationships with over time.

      Affiliate marketing is basically relationship marketing... and yes, it takes time.

      Thanks for the kindness. No the products are definitively not collecting dust.
      If they were I would not have the luxury of hanging out here for the last few days. I have most of our stuff on CB and other Marketplaces, including niche related sites as well. You can see from our main page that several items are through CB. If you have however ideas to move more of it, feel free to share your expertise as it is always welcomed. I'm looking to increase sales in our Background Music And sound Effects products at this time. However this is not our thread so let's not hijack it

    If you do use them, don't approve people as affiliates that you don't know and trust for instant commissions. Put them on delayed commissions. Learned the hard way that there are a lot of fraudulent affiliates that purchase with stolen credit cards, get the commission and then the real credit card holders do chargebacks several weeks later when they get their statements. I had 7 chargebacks all in a very short timeframe from criminal affiliates.

      As long as the advice given above is followed, you'll have no problems what so ever. We try to make that as clear as possible with big pink warning signs, videos on the request page and then even making you confirm that you"know" them before giving them instant payments, but the rest is on the vendor to actually follow it.

      We've got many vendors doing very well outside of the IM niche.

    My concern with a non-im product is all the follow up emails they will get from JV Zoo- product of the day... Many may feel they are being spammed as a result of buying your product

    I launched a product via JVZOO. I found them to be helpful when I had questions and their tutorial videos were quite good as well.
