GUIDE:make some quick and easy commisions with only FREE methods (newbie friendly)

When I startet out with internet marketing I was a little confused. I didn`t know where to start, and I felt the whole internet marketing thing was a one big jungle with cruel predators everywhere trying to eat me alive. But I used a method of making me some quick and easy cash just to keep everything rolling while i figured out how the more advanced aspects of internet marketing worked. To see some cash rolling in now and then is a big selfesteem booster especially when you are starting out,and the best part:I use only ZERO COST methods and there is NO SEO to do whatsoever.

See this method as a way to get some quick and easy cash and nothing else,
And if you are on a low budget and are serious about internet marketing, invest your earnings in a good autoresponder service and domain/hosting.

You can easy make $30-50 a day if you follow the steps below.

1. Decide what niche you want to be in. Remember. We are going to produce GREAT content, and it is easier to produce quality content if you have knowledge and passion for the niche. When you know your niche head over to an affiliate network and find products within that niche.

2.Find a free blog service. I recommend blogspot because, unlike wordpress, they allow affiliatelinks. (TIP:In order to make some additional income on your blogspotsite you can put adsense on it) Just sign up and leave it for now. Call your blog something related to your niche.

3.Sign up with yahoo answers. Your username (alias) should be something closely related to your niche. Sign up and leave it for now. (You will not use yahoo answers actively, but you might want to sign up if you want an extra boost to your income later by just answering questions and link back to your blog)

4.Go to google and type in YourNiche forum. (If your niche is dogtraining you want to typeogtraining forum.) Now you need to see which of the top ten results get the most traffic. An easy way of doing this is to go to alexa.com and compare the sites. Just go to Alexa and play around there for 5 minutes and you will see how it works.Pick the forum that get the most traffic. IMPORTANT: Make sure the forum you pick provides a signature box(just like here on the warrior forum) you can add your clickable link in.Write a killer salestext in your signaturebox and make sure you link back to your blog.

5.Ok,now we are going to write some quality content for our blog. We are going to presell affiliate offers, and the best way of doing this is to solve peoples problems. How can you find peoples problems within your niche? Head over to yahoo answers and search. If your niche is weightloss, search for that. You will find a bunch of questions. Write blogposts based on the questions you find, and solve their problems. Stick with 200-300 word quality posts and sneak your hoplinks in to your posts by using banners, link to videos(If using this:the salespage for the product needs to contain a video),link to "cool sites" etc. Between the "question posts" you can sneak in reviewposts of products in your niche. Write at least 5-10 quality posts before you go to the next step.

6.Now we will start driving traffic to your blog.Head over to the forum you selected. Start participating in the forum. Write at least 15-20 quality posts pr day. Consistency is your key. Be an active member of the forum and you will slowly become an authority person . When people start realizing you are the real deal, you will get your fair share of traffic to your blog. More traffic--->More readers----->more sales---->more money.

7.Keep posting quality posts to your blog.Try to write at least three pr week. Keep your readers engaged.

TIP: If you are more in to making videos then writing a blog, you can start your own video blog on youtube and put your (cloaked) affiliatelinks in the descriptionbox. Link to your youtube channel in the forums signature box.

Hope this helps
Thor

This worked for me with a filmmaking forum a while ago pretty well.

I would add a couple things.

#1 The forum participation part? Easily outsourced (if you have the means) for a very low price - find someone on oDesk who is actually FAMILIAR with the niche then they can write on it without having to do research, it will save you time and eventually money as you have someone who can actively engage the forum without needing to research.

#2 On the blog, setup a drip email chain and give away a free ebook and you'll at least capture leads, so if you can't sell to them the first time, you can a month or two later

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for input, though I am describing free methods only.
I haven`t tried oDesk myself but I wil definitly try it in one of the niches I`m in.

Also I know you were going for Free but I think spending the $4-$7 for a domain is pretty important, even if you can't get hosting yet, get the domain and lock in your name and security then eventually add hosting. Would make me nervous having all my content on the whims of any TOS change blogspot or whoever makes.

Again, I'd recommend avoiding that. The one thing you need to take care with, at Yahoo Answers, is anything that potentially looks spammy or promotional, because that's the fast way to a ban. Just use a normal-looking name, and not something niche-relevant which would be a "dead giveaway" about your commercial/promotional intentions!

No, sorry, but unfortunately it simply won't tell you this at all. All that "Alexa traffic estimates" can ever tell you, in spite of their wonderful name () is an estimate of the traffic flow to various sites/forums comprising people who have the Alexa Toolbar installed and running on their computers at the time of their visit. Those people are all other internet marketers (nobody else uses it, do they?! "Customers" certainly don't!). So it can't tell you how many people with dogs are visiting a dog-training forum - only how many people promoting things for dog-owners. Not much use, is it? :p

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...important.html
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...a-ranking.html

One last thing - I'd strongly advise anyone trying this to stay away from the ClickBank type of products, because they don't normally sell without list-building, for the reasons explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

Thanks for appreciating that I intend these suggested improvements constructively rather than critically. But if anyone does want to try this (and it can certainly produce some income) they'll give them a much better chance, and avoid some wasting time with unnecessary problems/difficulties.

Yes I can see the problem, but this is a quick cash method only, just to keep you started so you can invest in domain/hosting/autoresponder later. If google deletes your property you want to have all your blogposts backuped in your computer.Just start a new one if your blog gets deleted, and update your forumsignature. I don`t do blogs anymore, but I always have backup of all my online properties. But good point anyway

In my experience,if you deliever long and unique, quality content and don`t spam every answer with affiliatelinks(when I did YA I only added links 2/10 times and worked fine) you are good to go. But in this method the main traffic is generated from forums,so it doesn`t really matter. But thanks for your input

This is true. If you use the "reach" option to compare websites your results in % will only be visitors with alexa toolbar installed. But at least you get an indication.

I understand that, but it costs no more to do it in a secure way right from the start, with a self-hosted WordPress page/blog on free hosting. There's just no upside to using Blogger at all: all it does is take an unnecessary and entirely avoidable risk.

But why? Sorry, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me: why not just do it somewhere (also free) where it can't be deleted in the first place?

All you get an indication of is the number of other internet marketers visiting. No "indication" about general traffic or potential customers at all.

That being said it is also a way to actually build following for an authority blog without the implicit intent of trying to sell immediately. You can build up loads of quality traffic to your website in a certain niche and worry about monetizing it later. Again I mentioned I did this in the filmmaking niche earlier. I merely did it to build up quality traffic, later I started monetizing with Amazon and CJ offers to cameras and accessories.

    Then I flipped it

But if you are serious about IM this is just an temporary solution and you want to invest your earnings in domain/hosting and autoresponder.

      1. Yes basicly it is. The best buyers are people with problems that need to be solved. Example: If you are in the bodybuilding niche and a YA is something like: Why am I stalling at 300lbs squat? Your blogpost headline can then be something like: 10 SUPER powerfull ways to SKYROCKET your squat. Maybe a bad example but you get the point. It is all about highlighting your niche`s problem areas and find solutions for that.

2/3. You want to put a cloaked affiliatelink directly to the salespage. No need to put up your own landingpages,as they(if it is a serious page) have skilled people to make the best converting salespages. Your job only is to presell the product at your blog.

      Hope that helped

    Hi,

Thanks for the post. I think ppl sometimes also use the free blogs like blogspot or wordpress.com to test niches. This is sometimes easier then buying a domain, adding the hosting if you do not have an add on package and then seeing six months later your niche did not work.
Also I agree that consistency in your posting is the key, but the person from the get go needs to know that this does not happen over night. There will not be enough traffic that fast. I think if people have that mindset that this requires consistent posting they will not have the urge to give up quickly when the traffic is not coming as quickly as they hoped.

They do - but they're people who aren't aware of the terms of service and/or aren't aware that there are so many safer, better and just-as-free alternatives readily available.

Buying a domain isn't necessary, if you just use free hosting instead, for your testing purposes. There are plenty of free hosts who will give you a free subdomain just like Blogger and wordpress.com will.

Originally Posted by charlier View Post

All you need is free hosting somewhere like Freehostia, or 000WebHost, or Byethost. No paid hosting required. No add-on package required.

It's no more difficult to do this safely than it is to do it with unnecessary risks.

But unfortunately, people posting in forums keep advising beginners to do it using Blogger or wordpress.com, even though it makes no sense, really. That's why so many people repeatedly have these entirely avoidable and unnecessary "accidents" of the type whose descriptions/warnings fill all the threads linked to above. It's a shame for aspiring marketers that that keeps happening so unnecessarily, isn't it? We can see for ourselves from reading their threads how dispiriting it is, for them.

Yes I agree. This is for newbies that are starting their IM travel.

But if you are interested in SEO and have a patient personality, and are willing to use some time to learn SEO properly I would really recommend that you put the effort in to that, and just use this simple method as a "sideproject" just to make some quick and easy commisions.

Thor great post, however I would stay away from anything that has to do with Google, they are notorious for deleting peoples accounts for nothing.

Lexi said it right about a free host, and one more thing I ALWAYS had more success selling physical products then Clickbank products. Go to shareasale.com, tons of great products there with little affiliate competition.
