Hey,

I just want to know how I can create a site that is similar to experts-exchange.com.

The feature I'm most interested in is the blocking of info for non-members who are viewing the site.

Also what software/scripts/whatever can i use to manage the paid members?

It is unlikely you're going to find in existing scripts an exact match that will allow you to directly do everything experts exchange does.

That said, you might want to take a look at Joomla and CBSubs:

I don't really need everything I just need something that can block the content form non-members.

You could also use something like Wordpress MU.

If you only need that simple functionality you could use wordpress and this paid plugin:

Your Members Wordpress Membership plugin - Wordpress Specialists

You can setup pay per post or monthly memberships, pretty much anything you can think of.

Yeah sure, you use a "[private]" tag to start where you want the private info to begin for the user. I think you could make it work.
