How can I make a 10 hour video product, downloadable?

I'm kind of confused - it sounds like you're having 5 thoughts at once.

But, it's not quantity, it's quality.

If you have 1, 15 minute video where a dating expert tells you the super-ultimate-secret to winning a woman's heart. You could charge a ton for it...if it's true.

If you have 10, hour long videos of people rambling and it doesn't solve any problems or help anyone...then you can't charge much.

Quality > Quantity.

Yeah I have to agree with a lot of what Nates had to say there. In terms of "Can I sell a downloadable video training course?" the answer is definitely yes, and that doesn't even have to be for the dating niche, it could be for anything.

You'd need a decent camera and some good production value, and you'd probably want to mix in some powerpoint screencaptures for driving home the important points.

Just break the 10 interviews into 10 videos and zip each video. Now they just have 10 files to download. This is not a hard question. You just label the videos as Lesson 1, Lesson 2, Lesson 3 and all the way to Lesson 10.

Now you could build a fixed term membership site where you charge for each month or weeks lesson.

Here's what I would do, and that is to create at least some 20 minute videos and sell them for $1.99 a pice instead of selling them as an entire expensive package. If you broke up the material into 20 minute segments, you would be able to sell more than you would if each video was say an hour long or so.

Remember, people don't have much time on their hands so 20 minute or less videos would do quite well rather than full-length videos that are an hour long. Also selling them for just $1.99 a piece for each 20 minute video would go over much better than ones that sell for a whole lot more and are longer in length.

The quality should also be good. However, this doesn't mean that yo have to go all out and have a huge Hollywood production or anything like that, but a relatively good video camera that has great sound can do the trick well enough.

So think about these when you're creating your videos and such. However, these are all suggestions, but remember, if you want to make money with them, then selling them for what I mentioned earlier and making them only 20 minutes in length would definitely be in your favor. I just might even host them on my site and help you to sell them because I am working on a new site called buck99audiovideo.com.

As a customer if I hear 10 hours worth of videos, I think a lot of hard work. That's what so many product creators don't seem to get. I don't want quantity of information, I want quality. If you can tell me something in 10 minutes then don't blabber on and take 20 minutes to tell me that same thing.

Keep that in mind when creating this course. You should be trying to condense your information as much as possible, NOT trying to make the course as big as you can. Quantity does not equal value. The quality someone gets from that information is where the value lies.

You can easily sell a course like this. Create a membership site, break up your videos into manageable downloads and host them on Amazon S3.
