Wow, congrats. I still haven't made a sale on clickbank and I'm gonna have to suffer return on sale because it's been a long time that I haven't made a sale.

Thats awesome, I got my first few sales a few weeks ago. Made $170.

Only difference is, I "tried" for about 1 day lol.

Then there was a delayed effect, and sales came in.

If you've been trying for 1 year, something is definitely wrong with your method imo.
Sales should never take that long, unless you're doing something wrong. Either your offer/content isn't good, your traffic isn't targeted, or there isn't enough of it.

Since I randomly got my check 2 days ago, I've been working on scaling right now. Hops are already going up again, and my goal is $100/day on top of what I do with local lead gen.

Its like anything else. Quality content that presells + targeted traffic = sales.

Awesome, I know how its feels on your first money online.

Never tried click-bank for affiliate but I've been a product promoter their and all my affiliates go crazy having their PayPal account flood with money or even a single coin dropped in the cash machine.

My first Payment was from fiverr and Didn't stop their, Its crazy to know that I made only one order and then left. Later i took the hard path for email marketing and yes I got success, ( but don't know how much times I failed ).

Its the most beautiful feeling to work in a group with some peoples just like you to make money online because their thoughts are as same as you, They think as same as you and you're not alone or not the one who is not making money online.

I would encourage all those people who have failed to make money online and left in just 3 or 4 attempts to come up again and make their fortune as a successful internet marketer to get success.

Congrats on the sale and for having the drive to keep at it for over a year when the results weren't coming in like you were probably hoping they would! Hopefully you've been tracking what you have been doing so you know exactly how this sale came in so that you can focus on that and scale it up.

Remember this feeling and keep going forward. Figure out what is working for you and simply just duplicate it aggressively. Focus on the system that is proven and don't from from many different systems.

Ok you made a sale, now the important question... How did you make that sale? That's the question you MUST be able to answer to repeat what you did! (I don't actually want the answer just so you know) you need to understand WHY that sale was made!

I remember my first affiliate sale several years ago. It took me about 6 months and several thousand dollars lost but it was so worth it . I haven't stopped since! I haven't had a day without an affiliate sale in almost 2 years and it's quite nice! Good luck man!!

I know how sweet it feels to make that first sale, but honestly if you've tried over a year then something needs to change...

If you're using free traffic methods, I suggest doing some keyword research on your niche, identify some low competition keywords and put slideshow style youtube videos to drive traffic...

Other than that maybe create some Squidoo lenses or another Web 2.0 for those keywords with 'review style' content...and then point some social bookmarks or other backlinks to these Web 2.0 properties.

That should get you more than 1 sale a year

If it has taken you 1 year to get a sale you obviously aren't taking enough action. Either that or you aren't hungry enough... either way you need to use this sale as your Money Trigger to finally realize that taking action pays off and you could be making 1 sale an hour if your just TOOK SOME ACTION!

Congratulation, as many do I remember my first sale which brought in around $100 or so too just over 4 years ago now.

It is a great feeling, then you realise that you need more to even get paid, not so good.

Anyway to my point...

So many are saying your probably doing things drastically wrong, 1 sale in a year isnt good, well that doesn't take a genius does it.

But very few will have made sales within weeks of starting affiliate marketing and without any budget or direct coaching or mentoring its a long old process to work out.

That will be why you have taken so long, you will of spent the last 12 months working things out, trying all sorts of things, seeing little progress, getting frustrated, procrastinating, but in terms of actually implementing a strategy that is laid out and you actually understand, then odds are you have done very little.

Now that is fine, so many spend years and don't make anything, only a few % ever make anything above what they spend and only 1% actually make life changing money, so your not alone.

What you have to do now though is understand how you got to make that sale.

Have you been implementing something new recently that has lead to this?

Where did the traffic come from?

How did you qualify it for the sale?

Depending on how much you have in place to monitor where these sales are coming from in your marketing plan, will determine how much you can read into the sale you have made.

If you can identify what went right for once then you can scale it up.

You just start magnifying that part of the system, not go away and throw what you have done and know away and start again or go in the opposite direction.

You just need to see what went right and find a solution so that gets repeated over and over until you're getting sales weekly, daily and even hourly.

Again congratulation, definitely keep it up, but identify where things went right so you can repeat this process, if you can't do that then I would suggest finding out simple ways to monitor your marketing systems activities so that you can identify these things on future sales.

This will save you so much time wasted on what isn't working and help you focus on what is, allowing you to scale it up and bringing you much faster and sustained success.

This is important because if you know where it came from, simply focus on driving more traffic to that page to earn more sales!

Also, I agree with some of the other warriors here as well. If youve been trying to earn a sale for a year then you ARE doing something wrong...

Is your traffic targeted?
How much traffic are you generating?

Tweak test and scale up

I make over $10k a month on clickbank, and I still remember the days and months of struggling and parents telling me to get a job.

But the first sale was very exciting, and still remember it. many years later, and building big lists and testing and tracking is where you will kill it with clickbank, and obviously having your own products on there too.

So make sure you track how you get your sales, and just do more of that. Its pretty simple really, do more of what is working and less of what is not.

Good luck, keep up the good work, and do not listen to everyone else telling you to get a job, clickbank is very lucrative if you work hard, and build your lists.

That's all you need. 1 sale to give you the push, so now it's time to find out what you did to make that sale. If you don't know how you got it then it will be of no use. Just emulate the same strategy for your future campaigns and keep a track of your methods.
