We've got a list of 600+ subscribers, we want to start getting a bit more personal with our list, so rather than just sending out pre written affiliate area emails we want to write our own and show a bit of personality.

Has anyone got any tips on how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Yes,You thinking right..people always notice if you personal write email or just paste pre written text. From my personal experience I allways very happy and interested to read story ,short adventure from people who sending emails...Also secrets on some topic is really great. Try to be natural, friendly and your readers 100% notice what and appreciate it.

    Some ideas:

    - Lead in with a story
    - Share your recent success / failure
    - Ask what you can do for your readers / what's troubling them
    - Tell a bit about you... how you transformed from a ______ to ______
    - Craft an avatar of your audience and write to that one person always
    - Tell about your commitment to the readers
    - Share your vision of their success

    Kevin,
Personal beats generic all day long. Personalized copy will help to get higher email
response rates. Design messages based on City Name, Business Type,
Prospects name(if available). Sending a generic message, with no
personalization will typically bring the lowest response. It doesn’t have to be
complete personalisation, as that can prove too time consuming, but
    whatever you do will help.
Also use thought-provoking subject headers with their name. For many offline
consultants this can be the hardest part. There is fine line between a jarring,
but believable subject header and something that smells of phony, spam.

    All the best,
    Eric R
