Hey Guys,

Question about JVZOO / Aweber ...

I hear a lot about JV Zoo / GetResponse Integration and
how it adds buyers automatically without double opt in.

Well I did a test with JVzoo and Aweber and it seems to
do the same thing.

So what am I missing?

Do you use Aweber with JVZoo and is it requiring a Double
Optin? because it didn't require it in my test

I use Aweber and do not use double optin, though they recommend that you do. I presume GetResponse also recommends the same.

The difference is with GetResponse, as long as you get the GR account through our page, you get single optin API sent to you automatically and the optin happens on purchase and not on receipt view. This makes it so much easier to get ALL your buyers than the way it works with Aweber.

With Aweber, they have to go and view the receipt page before the optin fires. So technically if all your buyers go and view the receipt page where we have the "get access" button so they get the product they bought, then it will work no problem.

But and here's the big thing, almost 23% of people who buy a product never even open it so that is 23% of the list you are losing if you are using Aweber. With GetResponse, since the single optin fires directly on the purchase, if they never open it, you still get the lead on your list.

We approached Aweber about this and they pretty much blew us off. We approached GetResponse with the situation and they went so far as to co-build the integration with us to make it better and easier for you as the vendor to get what you want and need...your full list. To me, that speaks volumes as to who is looking out for you VS who just looks at their users as just another account. GetResponse wins, hands down.
