Best Platform For a Recurring Billing Product?

I'm thinking of selling my ebooks with a recurring bill instead of a one-time fee.
I'm currently selling on both Clickbank and getdpd.com. Getdpd charges a dollar a month per subscription, which is HUGE considering I only want to charge my customers $3 per month. Clickbank doesn't charge a monthly fee, but their overall fee is around 7% per sale, which is pretty high (plus you get WAY more refunds on Clickbank).
Has anyone here tried selling a recurring billing product on another platform like JVZoo, Ejunkie or elsewhere?
