Hey Squidoo users...

Have you noticed a difference un your lens traffic since the changes a few weeks ago? Have you had many lenses locked, flagged or deleted? Have you noticed when building new lenses if it is more difficult to get them to pass their filters?

My traffic has gone down to my best lenses and I have had 5 of 22 flagged or locked. I mostly use my lenses as links to my websites. Just wondering if peole are still having some success on Squidoo.

    Yes traffic is down but today somebody just ordered $2,000 worth of stuff from one of my lenses, wish it had gone through one of my own affiliate links rather than Squidoo's but I can't complain.
    I had three lenses locked but I soon got them sorted again, usually it is to do with over use of a keyword.
    I must admit I did have plans on building a few hundred lenses this year but in the end decided to put the work into my Amazon Authority Niche sites rather than chance it with Squidoo.

    If your building more lenses two tip for you are to use the 1st person for the review eg recently my xxx broke down so I was looking for a new one to replace it and I started researching xxx online.
    The other is to really be sparing with your keywords try to add a lot of LSI's in and try to make the lens look natural.

    Fortunately I didn't have any lens locked, but the traffic dropped. I had four lenses on Tier 2 and now only one of them is still surviving on Tier 2. Most of my lenses are on Tier 3 and nothing changes, besides my updates and various attempts to drive traffic to these lenses.

    Squiddo.... I had few lenses there before but then a friend of mine had a terrible experience when his account was locked [he had almost 900 lenses--- though his lock was removed later] but he was in a hell for almost 48 hours..
    i wouldnt put my income in someone else's as squido is extremely unpredictable

    My 4 lenses were locked too, reason given: the niche used has a potential of bringing on spam. I am done with Squidoo.

      Years ago, I made Seth Godin a bunch of money on my efforts and then they dropped my sites. No more make money lenses for me, I'll use them this time. For backlinks only.

    I personally find Squidoo pretty pointless nowadays, I'd rather spend the time and effort writing quality posts on my own websites.

    Ye, squidoo is useless now. I got 10 lenses deleted, just because they was kinda spammy.
    But they werent.

    So, for me, I am done with squidoo.

    If you're building lenses simply for backlinks, you should know that outgoing links are no-follow now.

    Traffic went down but it's coming back up. I'm back to getting plenty of daily sales and all of that good stuff.
