Please help me with my website

Hey there.

I'm starting to have learned enough to start generating traffic with my website.

You can view my webpage here: Save money shopping online with Cashback

I have the following things I need to do;
  • Get my website moved to my Domain
  • Add content to blog
  • Perform SEO
  • Learn to copywrite
  • Complete my guide
  • Optimize so each site feels like a landing page.

What would I like you Warriors to help me with?
  • Critism - Design - How does the page feel? (This is the first time I build a website that actually needs to be used)
  • Monetizing - I know nothing of how to Monetize pages - If you can help me with this, I would be extremely grateful
  • - As a side note to Monetizing, I am focusing on multiple income streams.
  • Any advice you think might be helpful
  • Note: I never made a post like this, so if you need more info, please feel free to ask!

If anyone wants to mentor me through Skype, and watch the changes at they happen, It would be appreciated - I can teach you some stuff very few people know of.
- My skype is Rapoen321

Best regards:

Christian

I like the headers but the fonts look cheap. I don't believe that you make money online when I read it, so I imagine other visitors won't either. The grey background is dull and doesn't catch the eye. I would suggest to begin with, a white background with lighter colours in general.

As I'm sure you can tell, I'm not a designer so I'm giving you the feedback based on myself as a regular visitor.

You need a logo. "Innovative marketing" does not stick in my head and make me want to know more about your company.

    Hey,

I'd say definitely look into typography. You want to use simple fonts for everything, and you want to stay consistent. if you want to use different fonts for different sections, don't go crazy. It'll only look messy.

The background I'd say is a too dark.

From a designers standpoint, it's not great.

From a marketing standpoint, sites that look "home made" often convert quite well because it adds to the psychological aspect. It may lead the visitor to recognize that there's a real person behind the curtain.

However, (and I suspect you have this covered since you talked about moving the site) you don't want anything on the site that says "free". If you're making money online you can afford to purchase a domain.

This should mean you can afford to hire a designer too though...

I'm kinda on the fence. If you were promoting weight loss product and you yourself were supposed to have tried the product and done well with it, it adds to believability that you created your own site to tell the world how wonderful your life is now. (you know the drill)

But with money making though, it's better to be too polished than looking too rough as far as your website goes.

Great answer thank you very much!!

I will move my site only when it's completely ready.

I will get to work on your ideas.
I am aware that the site does not completely cover what everything is about, but I will continue to add content.

I like the basic design and layout, especially the shadows on the buttons. One thing I would agree with though is the logo. Get yourself a logo made that sticks in our minds and makes us want to find out more.

I agree on the logo. Branding is everything in this business, and frankly, none us us can afford to be forgettable. A great logo is a step in the right direction towards becoming more memorable.

        Any recommendations to a designer?

        Banners on the site
        These are my ''actions'' on the AIDA model;

        Attention
        Interrest
        Desire
        Action

I have them in all the standard formats, and I can change them as I want.

Should I keep using the big ones, or use skyskrabers instead?

As far as designers go, you should shop around the forums. there's a heap of talent on the boards. Just gotta find it.

I'd offer to do it myself, but my days are pretty booked.

I'm trying to do this on an absolute minimum budget.
I tweaked the site a little bit, could you see if I'm headed in the right direction?

I will create a ''logo'' of some kind later.
(I just took in a homeless cat which is taking some attention x)

It's better. What's the font though, courier? Try Tahoma or Myriad Pro. if you want a serifed font I'd say go with Georgia.

Thank you very much for the suggestions!!

I appriciate text, in any font - I personaly honestly don't care about fonts, I care about the writen words, what they say, not how they look.

    New question / problem

I realised that "Innovative Networking" would be a bad choice, as most of the domains are registered.
There is, however "www.dedicatednetworking.org", but i'm unsure as to the effect?

Can anyone come up with some good titles surrounding the following 'tags''

    E-commerce
    Network
    Saving money
    Team in general

    - I'm not really sure - I need something that will have a good ring to it - Any suggestions? - It's against Dubli rules to make a website with their name in it in order to generate traffic to sell on Dubli.
