Any ideas on how to run an affiliate program like this? (its urgent so would love a solution please)

Hi

This is what I am trying to do:

Have distributors deliver a flyer/leaflet with their affiliate code on the leaflet so that they credited with the sales.

The code would also be linked to any online sales that they got.

None of the usual suspects (wishlist etc) seem able to alllow me to add a code that would intergrate offline and online marketing with the same code.

Can you recommend a solution please. Is it even possible to do what I am proposing.

Thank you very much.

Regards

Gary

Why can't you just make the code a landing page URL which redirects using their affiliate link?

i.e - set them up with an affiliate account then you can give them a URL (i.e www.yourstuff.com/special123) and that page just redirects to your sales page with that vendors affiliate link.

That way you just tell them what their link is and you can make it whatever you want.

    nothing to see here.

As always, you are a genius!! (Why didn't I think of that????)

I think that would work perfectly.

      Thanks very much.

    Would clickbank work?

You usually just add the affiliate ID in the hop link.

    Cheers,

That was an option I was looking at initially.

However, for this particular product I am want to set up an in-house affiliate program and would rather assign my affiliates a code rather than them having to register with Clickbank and letting me know their hop link ID for me to add to their flyer.

Thanks for taking the time to give me the suggestion though...I appreciate it

There are many affiliate networks out there that you can join and sign yourself up for an affiliate program.

Also, when you have this in place, I would also add an affiliate join link button for your future customers to take a look at. You will be surprised to see that many of your new customers also join your affiliate program to make money and this will make you even more sales.

Make it a part of your product after the customer buys.

That is an excellent recommendation but wouldn't be right on this particular project. However, every part of this project will be monetised so I won't be leaving money on the table.

Thanks again for taking the time to post

    Hi Gary,

One affiliate tip that works for my flyers and cards is to add a QR Code (QRC). When your affiliates speak to prospects they can show them how easy it is for them to scan the QRC with their mobile device and be sent directly to your site. The QRC is pre-coded with your affiliate's ID. Just be sure that your site is mobile responsive, so it renders appropriately in the browser.

Also, one of my clients just added the QRC to his restaurant's menus and offers a discount when the customer reserves a business lunch for two or more people etc. There are a number of wordpress plugins that make it easy.

    Jeffery 100% :-)
