Is it OK to do this with YOUTUBE Videos?

Just wondering if it was OK to take the Embed code from a video review of a product to put on our wordpress site in which case we are selling the same product? Or do we have to get permission from that person that created the video?

I always thought that as long as they let people grab the embed code then we should be OK. But now I am having second thoughts?

    If the video was created by another affiliate and posted on YouTube, then if your visitor clicks on that YouTube link from your site, they will be taken to that affiliates YouTube channel, and most likely click on the affiliates link below the video. Bye bye commission. Also, if I caught you doing that with our videos, I would send my ex after you. You don't want to deal with my ex.

      I would recommend you to go to fiverr and pay for a review ($5-$10) and insert your affiliate link in the description and then add it to your blog.

      Some serious buyer watch the youtube video on youtube itself, to have a look on the comments. And then there is the probability that the buy through the link in youtube video.

        Fair enough, besides if you want to do this quickly you can always create a new review from within the youtube editor. May not look as fancy but it's a vid after all. Insert some catchy tune and PRESTO.

    I would make sure that there is not a Call to action or watermark to their site as this will hurt sales and commissions big time.
