So I am thinking of breaking out into a new niche, one which I have a lot of experience in: Sex & Dating. I basically want to create a website where I can help men to gain confidence in the dating world and teach them how to get laid.

I am thinking of creating a compilation of high quality PLR e-books, hire a designer to brand the website/ebook covers and write a compelling sales letter.

Would a website like this generate income from websites such as POF or Facebook ads? What kind of photos should I use? (amateur, professional, airbrushed, porn-stars, regular janes?)

Where are good places to advertise a "How to get laid" type of website?

Thanks for any feed back!

    Hi...

"Bring Your Dad To School" must be quite interesting.

"And what does your father do for a living, Johnny?" the teacher asked openly.

"Oh, he just helps men get laid."

Good luck. At least you've got an appropriate username for it.

Oh I am a female... After dating for many years, I see what men are doing wrong. Just trying to help the opposite sex.

    Ive seen those ideas already.
But really, sex and dating niches s**k. WHY?

There are only a few very big players out there who own the whole market. Nearly no chance for little ones.
Ive been in that biz 8 years ago for about 2 weeks. And then I left. 8 Years ago!!

Now its nearly impossible to dominate that market.

    Good luck anyhow

You were in this business 8 years ago and you quit after 2 weeks.....and you are commenting on it now after 8 years that there is no chance...
internet businesses are changing fast and there are many major changes in the dating industry as well in 8 years

Like any other niche you enter, you don't expect to dominate that niche, you will only expect to make some money in that niche and the same is in this niche.
try to make your part of money out of it, not to dominate the niche...

Well, it's a proven market with plenty of players in it already and new entrants joining it daily (not kidding either). Most people are out of this niche within 90 days because they think they know what their market wants and/or they have crappy copy or crappy products.

You CAN target the "men want to get laid" market, a lot of beginning marketers try to go that route, and most of them get their a**es handed to them because that's not really what most men ultimately want. Yes, it's a pressing short term need, but my own independent research in the field and holding tons of focus groups, show that the vast majority of men want something MORE than just getting laid.

Most of them ultimately WANT to:

    1. Find the RIGHT woman for them (they know if they find the right woman than getting laid won't be an issue for most of them)

    2. Want to have BETTER sex.

    3. Want to better their existing relationships.

You can definitely help them with #1 and #2 and #3 could be a ancilliary niche.

It's all going to depend on WHO, specifically, you're going to target and how you're going to show them that you have the SOLUTION to their most pressing problems.

Yes, teach men what they are doing wrong, but also show them HOW to get what they truly want and you'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

That's one of those problems that can be cured with a credit card if that's all that's important. No need for an ongoing course, especially one based on an "expert" site loaded with PLR...

Oh btw wanna ask the OP, when you said you have lots of experience on this.
Do you mean the niche or dating and sex itself??

  • I would never personally get into this niche. For me it's mostly the subject but also the fact that it's highly competitive and since I've made zero dollars online from IM, I need more practice before I get into something so saturated with other "how to have sex' ebooks.
