Used Webs...Now I see the issues...

So I've got a website I want to sell and Webs will not give me access to the files needed for transferring it out.

I would be putting it on Hostgator, pointing the domain to the new site location and it would all be pretty much the same.

If I were to pretty much copy and paste the site into a Wordpress site with a similar theme, would it hurt the site at all?

    It would be a duplicate, but from memory, I am pretty sure you can log in, copy it, paste into Wordpress (but don't allow it to be indexed yet). Then delete from Webs. then allow Wordpress site to be indexed.

    I would take your content and re-write it if you want to keep it. Make it unique again, but don't use a spinner as they're crap and very easy for Google to detect.

    Did you content get lots of hits previously? If it didn't, then I'd maybe look to writing new stuff, and spend your time creating even more value rather than the same content, if it didn't work (unless of course you have ways to improve it).

      It was just a quick sniper site I started a while back and it' making good money. I was going to edit the content on the site as it's one page of writing and the rest is videos on how to set up the companies product plus a page of mine for troubleshooting.
