INTERNET MARKETING

I have a question ... can anyone point me to an article or report that teaches how to write content for squidoo? I'd like to better my writing skills and style to fit that website. Any advice or resources would be great. Please?

  I would like to offer the following,
  
  1) Do a search to find out what people are looking for, then build your lens in that area.
  2) Put some pizazz in your lense with colorful pictures.
  3) Give practical and useful content.
  4) Always add humor. (People hate dry stuff and will vanish).
  5) Link to your social feeds - Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin
  6) Make sure your lens is optimized for Google, and other search engines.
  
  I did some research and Google likes Squidoo lots, in some cases new lenses (in a hot topic field) can be picked up by Google within 3-4 hours.

Open any Squidoo lens you may find and go to the right top where it says ‘Search Squidoo’ and then type in your keywords, like ‘good content for Squidoo lenses’ something like that.

You will see a series of lenses giving you advice about how to write perfect lenses. Read them and you will learn a lot.

You can also learn a lot by talking with other lensmasters at their forum:

I can tell you that Squidoo likes personal stories, and the promotion of many Amazon and Cafepress products. Ebay is not as successful as Amazon.

You have to write original content if you want to have a good lensrank and become a giant squid. You will become a Giant Squid after creating 25 lenses with original content. Write articles around 1000 – 3000 words for each leans.

You will have many advantages after becoming a Giant.

Squidoo lenses are very good for many reasons, but the Squidoo system keeps changing and they have many irritating rules. Use Squidoo to help you drive traffic to your own pages.

I suggest visiting this recent thread about Squidoo, and reading ONLY what Alexa Smith has to say. Unless you like working your butt off so someone else can take your money?

The HQ blog and forum gives you some tips. There are also a ton of Squidoo lenses that can teach you more.

Generally you want to aim for informative and entertaining. Be yourself and have some fun while you're writing!

  I've tried it and had a good experience so far. However, it seems with the latest Google slap on Squidoo it's been a little harder to rank lenses than it used to be. But, it's much better than getting completely penalized if your own WordPress website.

I’m afraid that you are not allowed to post the content of the War Room here, and I’m also afraid that this method to make money with Squidoo is a trap.

This Warrior seems to be merely trying to sell his keywords (he has a Fiverr gig where he sells keywords for Squidoo lenses and he tells you that these keywords are necessary) and he also wants to promote the ebooks he suggests and make money as an affiliate.

You have no chances to make money with Squidoo as easily as he claims…

You will try and see that it’s very hard to get to the top, and then you will believe that you need his keywords and the ebooks he suggests to really make money with Squidoo…

Spend your time posting articles on your own website so you retain full control. Squidoo can pull your lens at anytime and leave you nothing to show for all the hard work you put in.

Very interesting, I always thought those hub pages is very easy to develop, actually I did not do it before, but now I believe that nothing is easy.
