Failing was the best thing I've done!

I just wanted to write a quick post and I'll keep it short so I do not bore anyone....But I just wanted to point out that some of my MOST profitable projects have come right after I have miserably failed at something before that....To make a long story short, whenever I fail online, I accept it, learn from it, and success is normally in the future...

Just thought I would throw that out there for any newbies struggling....Stick with it and if you fail know that there are more opportunities to come...

Very wise words. After a few years you'll be an expert if you keep repeating OPs steps c:

“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.”

So true, I am grateful I have some fight in me....If not I would still be slaving away at a day "job" today....Perseverance was my greatest quality when I started in this business...

Yep .. Unfortunately most people don't get that.

The faster you fail, the faster you will find success : )

So true. Failing IS Learning. It's the art of learning from your mistakes that will allow you to become successful.

      Completely wrong!

It's LEARNING from your mistakes, and not making them again. Perseverance, and thinking the faster you fail, the faster you will find success, will get you absolutely nowhere.

Too many people have a limited mindset when it comes to IM, and automatically believe that you have to go through a certain amount of failures before you achieve the holy grail. The truth is, if you are thorough with research, research, research, at the outset, then you don't realistically have to experience failure. But if you do, then learn by it - in a big way - and make sure you've got the tools to ensure you don't fall into the same trap again.

If you do it right the first time then the word 'failure' isn't in your vocabulary.

I never really got "failing" to begin with. Its such a dramatic dumb word.

Everything is just an experiment. Try something, see the result.

Like the result? Do it again. Don't like the result? Don't do it again.

Keep trying things until you have a whole bunch of things going on for which you like the result.

    Its really that simple.

Its all about the process anyway. The "success" for me is always in the enjoyment of the process of trying.

Good point...We are conducting experiments and the ones that don't work usually teach us something or successful projects in the future...

I believe both quotes are right. You learn every time you "fail." so it's not really failing. It's simply finding a way that doesn't work...for you anyway.

We cannot make too many mistakes to succeed. We do learn from failures, but note that we MUST NOT repeat the same mistakes that caused the failures twice.

If we never fail ? We will never learn from our mistakes !
I definitely agree with you about failing .

Think bout running a offer on PPC, very rare will you get profitable right out of the gate but after losing money (failing)for a week of testing then you have the data need to get it profitable.
Most of the time that is..

Thanks for this. I recently started listening to a lot of Tony Robbins, and one of the things that he said was very similar to this. Basically, when he felt frustrated and down rather than getting depressed over it, he would realize that there were something that was going to happen that would allow for breakthrough. He would get really, really excited and shatter an old habit that he had in be able to start a new habit that were taken to the next level.

Thanks so much for the reminder that when things are not going like I had planned, it's not a time to soak and quit. Rather, it's the darkness before the dawn and there's something powerful that's going to happen next.

I fail 90% of the time. Which means I'm learning 90% of the time. Thankfully the 10% success ratio means I can still put food on the table.

I've been homeless sleeping in a car with my laptop plugged into the lighter socket and a mobile dongle. I designed a website in my car in a week and got paid £500 to pay for a small studio apartment at the time.

I've had months where I've been able to go to L.A. on holiday, and I've had months in the same year where I've been broke. All part of the game. You learn to not make the mistakes again.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. You'd be surprised at how many skills you have when you actually need them.

Oh, and I spent 12 months in prison for computer hacking. 12 months to plan my future and get creative on paper.

I've lived life put it that way. From all ends of the spectrum.

    Easier said then done.

Most people, when are faced with 1 problem or 1 challenge, will quit no matter what you tell them. A lot of people are not willing to stick it out and persist till they succeed.

For every adversity lies and equal or greater benefit.

Those who learn from their mistakes and what is not working well will change their plans until something does work.
