Why is it that when I post something to the community related to my niche it does not show up on the community page?

I want to make sure I understand your question. Are you asking if you post on someone else's community page that your page has "liked", and you are not seeing it showing up as a post on your page?

If that is what you are asking, then the answer is, it won't show up as a post on your page. Only posts that you actually post on your page will show up on your Facebook page. You can post on someone else's page and then share that on your page though to get it to show up on your page.

If I understood your question correctly, I hope I answered it.

Rkeele is right. While in the past when you posted messages on Facebook pages they would show, with the new timeline only the admin of the fan page will have visible posted, your post will only be seen under the comment link
