ManageWP Alternatives

I use ManageWP for all of my WordPress websites and simply love it!

However, that love comes at a hefty price. I am at the point where I need to find a suitable alternative or lose my house and family (only kidding about the family).

I know the market is constantly changing and getting better. Hopefully something new has come along by now.

Do any of you warriors have an alternative to ManageWP?

Thanks,

Brian

There was a WSO some time ago for something similar. Forgot the name though. But if you do a quick search on the WSO forum you should find it.

I did do a search and it was outdated information. I was hoping there was fresh, new options available.

InfiniteWP has a lot of overlap in terms of functionality and has a very solid free version with paid extensions.

InfiteWp is the type of alternative I am looking for.

      Anyone else?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

That is what I am looking for. Hopefully they will add some more functionality in the future.

      Thanks!

I'm currently using InfinteWP and absolutely love it. The free version includes manual backups, too.

I purchased and ended up refunding WP Pipeline. InfiniteWP is, by far, a much better WP management product and much faster.

I love InfiniteWP - I even got some AddOns that are really worth the price. Even though I had lots of problems with cloning sites - the support did help me very fast.

InfiniteWp is great, use it myself, but I'm keeping an eye on an up and comer called iControlWP. Great response and follow through from Paul and the gang there.

By the way the core of InfiniteWP is built on the same as ManageWp.

I just checked it out. How much are you paying? If I found what you're talking about, the cost seems very reasonable.

We have just moved around 20 WordPress sites to InfiniteWP. Meanwhile it has some bugs, it seems working well with basic features. I ordered some add-ons too. Will check more details before we decide which platform we can use. Still have multiple WordPress sites on ManageWP.

The thing I likes in InfiniteWP is that we can install in any of our data centers. It's not a hosted one. So, I can manage it, not depends on others' servers.

    InfiniteWP looks cool.

The question is do you want to pay like $200+ NOW or pay $50+/month with ManageWP?

Unfortunately, if you want scheduled backups you need to buy an add on. If you want to have those backups sent to your S3 account, you need to buy another add on.

It depends on which features you want to use. For example, we don't need to buy backup addon, as we do backup ourselves.

One of the things I like about iControlWP is their backup solution, called WorpDrive. It doesn't use a massive zip operation like the rest of the competitors. WorpDrive first finds new files, deleted files, and the files that have changed and only backs them up saving you time, space, bandwidth and eliminating the possibility of backup failures on bigger installations. It lets you see exactly what you've backed up as well. Also, you're not using another plugin as it's totally integrated
