I need advice on passive income strategies please.

I've been in the website building and local SEO world for a while now and haven't had a huge success revenue wise. In fact, it really has been feast and famine.

One of my goals/dreams for the year is to create an online passive income that will generate at least $5,000 monthly. I realize that this won't happen overnight and that it will take some work to get there. I'm certainly not afraid of hard work.

I've considered several ways to do this, but I'm not sure which would best fit and be the most productive. I also have a very limited budget to get started.

Here's where you come in. I'm looking for advice from other warrior's that have successfully generated a passive income online. I'm also looking for recommendations on materials, guru's, or other training programs that TRULY DELIVER. I don't want to just buy another WSO full of fluff where the creator is only selling an idea and hasn't really made it a go for themselves.

I'm looking for a SYSTEM that I can follow and duplicate over and over again and be successful.

I've considered the following areas:
  • Multiple micro niche sites (100 to 500) that generate about $3 to $5 daily.
  • Building an authority site based on the most frequent general area of the Top 100 highest CPC keywords on Google.
  • General affiliate marketing
  • Multiple Adsense sites
The main thing that I DON'T want to do is SELL MY SERVICES anymore. In fact, I'm SICK of it! Cold calling, emails, direct mail, networking groups, etc., etc., etc. There just isn't enough time in the day to manage all of this and truly be a success. Some people find a way to do it and are successful. I haven't and I'm sick of the game. That's why I want to find a genuine way to use the internet to earn a passive income that I can make grow to become my total income.


So I'm looking to my fellow Warriors for your advice on how I can do this or at least point me in the right direction to a real successful system or coach that's out there that I just don't know about.

    Try list building and creating an authority site that you're passionate about. Once you get a large list, money won't be an issue. Make sure to always give value to your list. Then you can start creating your own products and recruiting affiliates.

    Building an authority site based on the most frequent general area of the Top 100 highest CPC keywords on Google.
    This can be a very good and long lasting idea to generate passive income through online.
    In addition, you can create your own product and sell them through your authority website.

    I think one of the most underrated ways to make a passive income is through YouTube...Set up a YouTube campaign create videos once...get them ranked on Google...Bring in passive income in months and even years to come....Depending on the competition....

      I've considered the following areas:

      IMO, there is really no such thing as "Passive Income." Low maintenance - Yes. Completely passive - very risky without a serious team behind you.

      This is a nightmare. A LOT of work on a lot of different sites to maintain.
      Building an authority site based on the most frequent general area of the Top 100 highest CPC keywords on Google.
      I think you're in a better general direction with this - but you have to chunk it out one bite at a time. Rank for just a few to begin.

      General affiliate marketing
      You'll be constantly having to manage how ever many sites/niches you go into with this as well. If you go this route, try staying in one specific niche where content can be repurposed and one that has many closely related products that make sense. I'd try doing this under one site. For example - you can have a "canine health" site and still affiliate for dog beds, brushes, milkbones, etc.

      Multiple Adsense sites
      This can be a bit scary if you are not careful to spread out who is paying you - meaning don't go solo on adsense alone as one day G might decide to shut you down and you'll be dead in the water.

      That's not passive income though.

      One tip is to include a few recurring commission affiliate promotions (ie. affiliate programs that pay each month that the customer continues to pay for the service or product.

      Clickbank has dozens of recurring payment affiliate programs in a variety of niches like weight loss, forex, and plenty more.

    Niche WordPress authority site + Listbuilding/Autoresponder & Membership Site.

    Not exactly passive income, but it is residual income.

    I hear what you are saying about the client-based work. For the last couple years I've been working on client site after client site and not focusing on my sites. Last month, I consciously decided that my most leveraged opportunity would get the #1 priority spot vs. clients.

    So far so good!

    Be careful with niche affiliate marketing... Its tough making $5000/mo when your only getting paid 8% or 10% commissions. The 'quick' way about reaching your goals is to find a 100% commission membership system you can plug into and run with that.

    This way, all you have to do is build the authority niche site and optimize your sales funnel as you go.

    I've had zero success with this but I've been in the IM world for a while now, and I can tell you this (even though it's hard and I don't do it myself)

    You need to stick with ONE thing, give it a legit try, then move on. One thing.

    It's hard. Good luck. You sound dedicated and like you really could make it work for you

    I suggest you focus in building a brand under a service, I have had major success creating, local directories for middle size cities I acquired rights to use a veryy extensive platform for my projects, income can be passive here since people renew their ads every year, etc

    I guess all of these need an injection of time and effort at the start as well as a certain amount of ongoing maintenance as well. The trick is to find something with the lowest amount of ongoing maintenance coupled with the highest return. Not an easy task.
    Personally, I use a hybrid of an automated internet marketing model to channel into an established MLM which allows for your customers to promote the process as well as you.

    After knowing many marketers, the way to create a passive income is to is have multiple streams of income. There are many ways to do internet successfully but don't focus only on one method.

    You can have 100-500 mirco sites to earn $3-$5 day or you can have 10-20 sites that earn you $300-$1000 daily. i prefer the other. First it's easier to maintain and scale up.

    To really have a passive income from IM, you really have to work at it and build it up. I like authority sites with list-building methods. I also like CPA marketing, as i can see results fast.

    But don't dream too much. Learn one method and do it well first before expanding your methods to earn more. Work at it everyday and treat it like a real business, Real Marketers don't think about retiring all day, instead they think about how to scale up their business everyday.
