Recurring billing service suggestions

Hi All,

Need suggestions on what I can use to set up recurring billing. Below is what I need:
  • recurring billing (automatically charges card)
  • ability to send individual invoices
  • Customize invoice
  • Automatically sends email to client once card is charged
  • Alerts client when card needs updating
I looked at the following but wanted to get the best deal and little hassles. I am worried about PayPal even though this is not internet marketing based on the crazy holds I have heard here.

Paypal is $30/month 2.9% + .30 per transaction
Recurly is $69/month 1.25% + .10 per transaction
PaySimple is $34.95/month 2.49% + .55 per transaction (way to high)

I just don't know who else even with a Google search. Who have you used successfully and found the price worth it. I don't want to use a separate gateway, I just want an all in one solution with my business account at my bank. I do have a paypal account set up in general for this same business.

What do you think and suggestions? THANKS SO MUCH!!!

You can use BraintreePayments / Stripe - 2.9%+30cents without any monthly charges. And you can use it with ChargeBee Subscription Billing solution. Or there are 15 other payment gateways supported depending on your country with ChargeBee.

ChargeBee acts as your application's extension to take care of:
      - recurring billing (automatically charges card)
      - ability to send individual invoices.
      - You can customize invoice with logo & color & notes at the end of invoice.
      - configure emails to customers
      - dunning management to recover from credit card failures & sends follow-up emails to cusotmers.

      - Reporting
      - Offline payments tracking.
      - Virtual terminal to manage all transactions from one place and you can invite your team to manage subscriptions.
      - Discounts / coupon management for sales & marketing team to run campaigns. These tie back to invoices automatically.

Pricing starts with a freemium tier of 10 invoices free and you pay $49 for 200 invoices beyond the freemium tier.

The free trial includes a test payment gateway so you can check if that suits your needs.

      Cheers,
      Krish.

Disclosure: I am one of the co-founders of ChargeBee.

As you see, BraintreePayments are charging much on their invoices services which is also an other way of expense to the premises. fetchflow.com | How do I schedule recurring invoices? is the best suggestion for you to try it for your recurring invoice and save the extra payments you made on making invoices.
