Dear Warriors,

I have developed my own product (Video Scraper Plus) and launched for sale two months ago. After i got lot of valuable suggestion from our great warriors i got only 5 sales for the first two months,.After that i didn't get any sale so i was really frustrated and gave up my effort to make video scraper plus to get big sales..am on vacation now..

But this month i could see so many hits on my website and got decent number of sales that i never expected..really i don't understand the mystery behind the internet marketing

Can anyone suggest what can be done from my end now to get big sales?.

Many Thanks,
Velrajan T.

I was not clear on if those sales came from the WSO, or from somewhere else. If it's from some other source, have you analyzed where the traffic came from for those sales? That would be a good first step - then try to expand on that - improve on the traffic source that is already working for you and then go into other areas.

As far as Internet Marketing, there are thousands of posts in WF on marketing ideas and how to get your product out there - start trying some things (like article marketing, SE marketing, PPC marketing) but TRACK everything! If something is costing you $ and it is not paying off, drop it like a hot rock!

Was the page that made the sales on your website or on some other site (was it the WSO page and if so, how did you track the traffic source back to google)? I am just wondering, because if it was somewhere else and you got a lot of traffic, I'd love to know what site it was on (hubpage, squidoo, WF, etc.). PM me if you like.

If it was a page on your site or some site that you control that Google was sending traffic to, be sure NOT to change the title of that page! The title is the most important factor in on-page SEO. I tried to tweak a title once to get it higher in the SERPs and it dropped off the list entirely! And I have heard of a few other people who ruined their rankings by messing with the title of a page that was ranking well. If Google likes your title, keep it - and don't duplicate it somewhere else.

Also - Grant is right - it's a good idea to do some split testing. For example, make a new page with a tweaked title and tweaked content - then wait and compare each page's performance. Then focus on the best performer.

        Good luck!

    Velrajan,

How much split testing are you doing? How much are you promoting it? Did you write the sales message yourself?

My best guess as to why you think your results are a mystery, is because you never tested your results in the first place. I could be wrong, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Great sales will never come, simply by throwing up an offer and hoping for the best. And if sales don't come to you, you give up and try the same process all over again.

If this is the case, learn more about testing your sales messages, and constantly making subtle improvements.
If you don't, you're simply throwing your money away.

Don't know much about what you've done so far, but if you give us more information, I think we could help get you in the right direction.

    Grant
