When uploading ebooks and reports to scribt and docstoc then do they still allow clickable link pdfs, which when clicked go to your website or squeeze page?

somebody said they had toughened their rules.

and do you do this to bring you steady traffic ?

They still do, otherwise there wouldn't be any incentive to do so. Docstoc attributes their success entirely on the ability to get as many new docs uploaded as possible to give them the longtail content they need to rank in google, so I can't see them tightening up on restrictions that are going to negatively affect the number of people uploading.

but not all ebooks uplaoded there have clickable links in them, as many pdfs dont link back to a website.

Personally I've found the major document sharing sites to work quite well as a source of new traffic from links within my "shares". All part of the mix.
