Live video streaming solutions?
Hello,
I want to make an online course that will be streamed live to paying customers.
Basically I need to stream live to 500-1000 people at once.
It is basic PHP home course that my friend will teach to students online for a very reasonable price, he has huge interest for this and I am looking to help him set up a website. (has newborn baby and job he can not help me) The billing is not a problem, in our country credit cards do not work
and people go to the bank and pay direct there is no other way so we have the billing covered 
so it does not need to have an integrated payment option, its done the old school way: manually LOL
What is the best solution for streaming live to masses?
It can not be a recording because there is 2 levels of participation, with and without "support" the ones with support get to ask questions and what not so it must be interactive therefore it can not be a recording.
I have actually looked in to software for them nude webcam sites but it is ridiculously expensive and most of them will not allow hosting outside of their server. And will not let my programmers customize it but want theirs to do it for a fee!
I am looking for any free or non free solution that is reliable and can be modified and does not cost an arm and a leg.
