Affiliate contest - live event promotion
Hi everyone
I know there is quite a bit of info about how to win affiliate contests, but the majority seems to pertain to product launches...or specific products in general (I.e. offer your own bonus to get them to sign up).
There is a live event contest coming up that I would like to win. The placings are determined by the number of overall tickets sold (tickets run around 100 bucks per person).
Does anyone have advice on how to promote? I thought about running a banner ad on the business section of the la times (city where the event is taking place), but am not sure if that is wise or just throwing my money away.
Can anyone think of some good resources where I could get some ideas?
