EzineArticles vs. all the rest

Hi,
I started article marketing a few weeks ago and I have noticed something very annoying.
I submit my articles to 5-7 directories, all of them are suggested by many warriors (aka articlebase, goarticles, buzzle)
but, to my surprise, the traffic I get from ezinearticles is ten times more than what I get from all the other 4-6 combined.

should I stop submitting articles to all the rest or will it be worth it when I have a lot of articles?

Thank you,
MunkMurray

I always think it is a good idea to link to as many articles sites as possible in order to get as many back links as you can.

EZA definitely ranks higher in google than other article directories and also has a high traffic front page that your articles get published to. So they will pretty much always give you more readers and traffic.

Many just use other article directories as a backlink to your main website/blog, etc. The more backlinks pointing to your site, the more likely it is to receive some google love and rank higher.

What i tend to do is just write and write, i know i can easily produce 200+ articles a month in my niches and submit these all to EZA, which is what i concentrate on doing. Then i can just outsource the submitting of these articles to the other directories, which will produce a small amount of traffic, but also some decent backlinks.

    Cheers

    MunkMurray,

Perhaps all you need to do is conduct a little research and change the "other" directories that you submit to.

Never submit to an article directory just because someone tells you to. You should "ask" Google where to submit your articles and do what they tell you!

Hint: Just start doing searches for your keyword list. Those other places will quickly jump out at you. BOOM - Google answered your question.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!
