Between March 1 and May 14 (today), it looks like I've only had around 1500 unique visitors. I've made 15 sales, with an average sale of around $85 each. A lot of these sales came from one affiliate who is in the same niche (there are VERY few selling in this niche as it is a small and tight one).
Unfortunately, I can't use Google Adwords to drive traffic since they terminated my account for ridiculous reasons. And I've tried using Bing/Yahoo and Facebook, but the traffic doesn't seem to convert. Plus, the volume as I've mentioned, isn't really high for this niche.
How do you think I should continue in this niche?
One issue is that a lot of the info in this "how to" niche is the amount of free info online, esp. YouTube videos.
But with that being said, I think people still like to have an "all in one" info product that has everything they need.
Maybe I'm wrong? Maybe that is the issue?
The only thing I can think I can do to increase sales is to...
* Continue to split test my sales page to get the absolute best version I can.
* Increase subscribers with a popup or maybe use Survey Funnel to really target them.
* Continue to tweak and tweak my autoresponder sequence until I see some conversions.
And of course, increase traffic. Especially to start ranking for some nice keywords.
I've actually used PPC to get subscribers via Facebook and Yahoo/Bing, but I can't seem to get them to convert to my main product.
Of course, the main product isn't really cheap, I've tested it with prices ranging from $79 to $97. Still not enough data to determine which price point is best.
I'm thinking since there is a lot of free "how to" videos on this niche in YouTube, I MUST find some sort of USP to make my product stand out. To be premium. Etc etc.
Thoughts or suggestions?
P.S. And please do not ask me what niche this is in. All I can say is, it's not in IM or any of the BIG evergreen niches. Although, the subject is actually evergreen. It will never go away.
