Agreed here....Some gigs on Fiverr are actually worth the money....Traffic generation on the other hand is usually not....Many of these "traffic" gigs will send bots to your website or link....Really not worth the money...

Dont waste $5 for traffic on fiverr..it doesnt wort at all
If traffic was that cheap, no one would be spending fortunes on paid advertising and no one would be spending hours and hours on SEO...

I purchased 40000 youtube views last year for a video I created promoting an affiliate offer.

With in 5 days of the ordering the gig I made 3 sales at $29.97 each.

    It worked that time.

I tried it again two weeks later.

    I made $0.

Its swings and round abouts, most of its junky bot traffic.

Unfortunately, lots of people buy these traffic services to artificially inflate visitor statistics, before their sites are up for sale on flippa.

I have purchased traffic from fiverr. Complete waste of time. I only purchased to test the traffic to my squeeze page, no conversions. Sometimes you have to realize, if you actually had a source where you can get 1,000+ visitors that actually convert, why would you sell it for $5? And, for the seller - if the traffic was actually legit, why sell it on fiverr for $5 when you can sell it for $100's on your own website

Don't purchase traffic because if you are purchasing traffic then that traffic will not include the real human visitors. The good idea is to build traffic.

Well I do have a traffic GIG and can send real humans to any URL - no bot or fake clicks.

BUT, to be very honest with you, it is very unlike that this traffic will make you money on a visit.

You can send them to a focused squeeze page to build a list for the Make money niche and then market to them further, but those leads are not natural searchers so they will not convert the same as organic leads.

So the questions is - what is your goal with that traffic.

Sending them to an offer or review page to get a sale is a waste.

I have. It sucks. Can't understand why a Fiverr seller would sell traffic for $5, instead of using that same traffic to drive traffic to their website. They must know it's a load of crap.

Because it takes 5 minutes to setup and cost $2 what leaves a profit of $2.-

I myself have never used fiverr for traffic. Although some of my friends have purchased traffic through a fiverr gig and from what I've heard through them it's really hit or miss. Yes, the warrior for hire stuff is gonna be better, but some of the warriors selling you services are just selling you something they bought on fiverr anyway (traffic or otherwise). The point is to find a traffic provider that has great reviews and offers a money back guarantee. Fiverr or no, I say do your homework and make sure the traffic source is legit and the gig provider reliable. Best of luck to you my friend!

Seriously guys you get what you pay for. I would not buy traffic, links or a mothers day gift on fiverr. Why do you keep trying to cut corners with your business folks?

Do the work and get paid people - stop looking for the cheap silver bullet.

Several people are mentioning youtube views which is quite different from simple site visits. Youtube favors videos which already have a lot of views, which is why that can help promote a video. It also gives the image of it being popular so more people will click on it. Bot traffic to your website doesn't have this effect at all (except on your alexa ranking, if it's done right). Thus, they are two different scenarios.

yes, I have purchased traffic in fiverr before I learned that its not real people. They use software to ping your site so it would appear you get visits. Bounce rate is 100%. You would notice that there are no views on your inside pages and visit duration is only a few seconds.

      Partly incorrect.

Most are PPV traffic - humans but with a low interest what you offer UNLESS you know how to tikkle them to click a link to something you have to show them (like - MAKE 2'800 a day by clicking at ads - or so).

Automated visits from Asia. Obviously not real visitors. Been there done that, wasted $5. Some better scripts avoid 100% bounce rate by visiting a random page on your site before leaving. Still useless.

Not a positive experience. I got very poor conversion. Also, the traffic was mostly from overseas. It was not a bot as I did get sign ups. Also, there were comments both positive and negative ones. Hard to monetize traffic that is poor.

98.9 % of the traffic gigs on Fiverr are crap. I have had luck with 2 traffic sellers there though... one who sold traffic from her Twitter account and another who sold traffic from his Facebook fanpage. I got a ROI on the Twitter traffic when it was sent to my Adsense pages (but I am not with Adsense any longer, for other unrelated reasons) but it sucked for list building / opt-ins.

The one who sells traffic from his Facebook fanpage gets me opt-ins every time I order it and some of them actually convert and buy stuff later on (after they are in my sales funnel).

Having said all of that.... I repeat : 98.9 % of traffic gigs on Fiverr are worthless.

A better way to use Fiverr for traffic is to hire a V.A. there to post blog comments on blogs related to your niche, post ads on Craigslist for you, create videos and / or upload them to YouTube for you, etc.

You would probably be better off doing a ezine solo ad at least you would be dealing with targeted traffic vs. random visits.

When I first started long ago, I bought a solo ad thinking I could get a ton of traffic, and it turned out to be a big disappointment. Looking back I now know purchasing traffic on Fiverr isn't a good choice, PERIOD.

Maybe not buying traffic, but buying social signals has worked for me, i have a website checker, and this shows the likes and shares that I have had as genuine.. Also looks good having 1000's of likes to any genuine customer who lands on your page - makes you look credible

I have and it worked out to be quite profitable but obviously you have to be careful. When I asked the people how they found me, most of them couldn't remember. If you dig around you can find real traffic (not bots). The traffic I buy comes from thank you pages. I chose one who uses the thank you pages from IM related high volume products (hosting, domains, IM products and sometimes free IM style giveaways...etc) so the traffic (though not searching specifically for what I'm offering specifically) is at least in the IM or Internet related niche. That's close enough for the odd one to also be interested in my free report which is also IM related.

I've also bought traffic that did nothing though (before I knew what to look for) and I'd advise that if you want to give it a try go for those who promise less traffic over those who offer hundreds of thousands of anything. Look at their English skills - it's often a red flag if they don't put much effort into presenting their service to you. The guy I'm using now has a very detailed gig description with a link to an even more detailed document that explains where the traffic comes from...etc which he insists everyone reads before ordering, has thousands (9k+) of positive feed back comments and is a first class rated seller.

If you look around and go with the believable claims from established rated sellers you'll have better luck than just picking the one with the biggest number in their headline. I don't expect much for $5 and though it probably won't bring me millions overnight, lately it's been profitable based on the cost.

I have purchased traffic from crorkservice and dino_stark on fiverr and have definitely got traffic from a Google page ranking from the comments in the comments section.
I got those names from my business partner, Jon P who regularly ranks page one in Google and Youtube with info videos

I deem them a success and worthy, if you have an eye for value & talent..

Depends on what you are doing. If you don't need conversions and just traffic , the gigs work out well but if you are looking for conversions , not recommended at all.
