Split Testing...how to?

INTERNET MARKETING

There are a few things I would love to split test on my website. Different headlines, layouts, changes in copy, etc.

I know that testing and retesting is the key to success for any IMer, but I'm not exactly sure how to run a split test.

Is there a third party program of some kind or is it done through google analytics? How can I set it up so that two different versions of my site are being displayed 50% of the time and conversions are being tracked?

If you'd like to test more than one element on your sales letter at a time, then you'll need to do multi-variate testing instead of spli-testing.

Hey Didier,

No problem at all. I just focused on the OP mentioning he had a bunch of stuff he wanted to test on the web page.

Paul Hancox is a really sharp marketer, I make it a point to recommend his Small Changes Big Profits book as required reading for people wanting to start testing. His testing software is also a good choice for anyone looking to do split-testing.
