Can anyone recommend any Beginner guides/ebooks?

Hello, can anyone on here recommend to a complete noob a beginner guide to get started on internet marketing and gain a basic understanding.

I have a website and would like to learn to make some money from it.

I also have a youtube account with 100 subs and 10,000 views.

I am open to learning anything.

      Its a good idea to learn the foundational type stuff first like SEO, ad platforms, affiliate marketing, traffic generation etc. Plenty of stuff out there for free on this forum and also on blogs and other sites.

    There are literally thousands of ebooks/guides that can get you started on a path to success. I know it can be really difficult to choose where to turn and what to read but it all depends on what you feel comfortable doing.

    This forum has all the valuable information that you could possibly need but narrowing it down can be hard.

    Pick one thing and learn everything you can about it.

    I couldn't disagree more with what people have said so far. DO NOT look around on the Warrior Forum for bits and pieces. Your learning will be so disjointed as there is a HUGE mix of newbies, intermediates and absolute genius experts.

    You won't know what's basic and what's advanced. I'm speaking from experience. When I first came on here I left and didn't return for months because it made me so damn confused. I got roped into buying tons of WSO's and lead astray by so many different people with different opinions.

      I agree that it's hard to distinguish between good and bad advice, especially as a newbie. You've got to find legit people who really want to help you for free. WF is still good though. Look at Niche Pursuits and AdSense Flippers, etc. They have TONS of legit content. Good luck.

    There's a ton of ways to make money online. It really depends on what your website is about and what kind of traffic you get. Adsense is usually a good way to monetize traffic but once again, it depends on what your site's topic is.

    For youtube, I like doing CPA marketing...

    This forum is probably the best source of information. Also try Chris Farrel Membership or Ryan Lee's FounderFly. Both are excellent and well worth the price. You'll learn a lot.

    Even SBI, Site Built It is good for training purposes but the platform it runs on seems a bit dated. If you join just for a learning exercise, you'll benefit.

      You say that you have a website and would like to learn to make some money from it. And that you would like to learn how to do that.

      You didn't say what your website is about or give a link to it. Obviously if you have a website, you made some decisions about doing something with it and had some idea as to what you wanted to accomplish with it.

      You also mention about having YouTube viewers that I assume you would somehow like to make money from. If the video is tied in with what your website is about, then you shouldn't have much difficulty linking the two. If you are, then I suggest that you focus on finding info to do just that.

      If your focus is on just making money online, because there are sooo many ways to do that and there are sooo many experts who can promise they can help you, then you will end up chasing the make money dream jumping from one thing to another and getting no where... I've been there before myself.

      Decide what you really want to do with your site, then research those who can help you do that including reading reviews about that person or program and stick with it to completion. You'll have a higher chance to succeed this way.

    People could recomend books or courses and you would end up not really liking because everybody is different. If you can find a guide that gives you the general gist of internet marketing, then you can make an informed decision on how you would actually like to make money online. Once you have made that decision you can then come back and ask again you would probably get a lot more useful recomendations that way.

    I would also add just be careful because i am sure some people will see you have started this thread and send you a private message trying to tell you that their product/wso is what you need, don't make any hasty decisions.

    I'd suggest you get a war room membership and download some of the free stuff they've got in here.

    It's literally impossible to not be successful online if you stick to 1 proven system like the ones in there. Of course you need to have a knack for creating your own strategies and by compiling all the ideas you've read.

    Get this book, Your Portable Empire, by Pat O'Bryan. It covers everything and is by a guy who struggled at first. Pick it up on Amazon. You can get used for two cents, not kidding. Once you've read it, read it again. You'll have the basics down. Then when you start looking around the forum and the Web you'll know what people are talking about. Good luck.
