Mailing List Software Query

Hello, does anyone know of any email marketing list products that allow for lists to be segmented by postcode in the UK. I want ot be able to mail all people on my list within a certain distance from a postcode in the UK. As far as I can see A Weber and Mailchimp don't allow this. Can anyone suggest one that does?

Thanks

You can't segment by postcode in Aweber?

You can segment by postcode ok but you can only mail to subscribers who have that actual postcode. This would be very limited and I'm looking for something that would mail to a radius from a postcode.

Are the subscribers entering their actual postcode as
      part of the sign-up process?

This would allow the segmentation of the list based
upon criteria such as the postcode containing certain
letters - not necessarily the exact postcode match.

For example, I live in Nottingham and would be able
to target people with postcodes that contain NG,
DE and LE (Nottingham, Derby and Leicester).

    Hi Shaun,

Thanks for replying. I like your thinking. While exactly what I'm looking for. It could work quite well. I can cut the first letters out of the postcode and do campaigns based on this. This would fall down where people live between postcodes but would definitely work till I find something else.

    Thanks

Comm100 looks pretty good. i have emailed them to see. I can do it with dotmailer but this will cost in excess of £100 per month.

arpReach Standard (and above) can do this right out of the box assuming you ask for the postcode information on the subscription form.

I split my lists by town and postcode for my offline marketing but as stated it requires me to collect this info when they opt in as one of the fields.

I have queried it with arpreach and apparently its product doesn't have this function.

Radius from a postcode would require some kind of database tie-in that has such info. If anyone knows of one, let me know.

      Cheers,
