Question on how to get on competitor lists...

Hey,

I know it's important to get on the list of the "big boys" marketing in your niche. Just to get an idea of how they operate.

Can you recommend a way to find the squeeze pages of your competitors?

It's easy to find the ones with big blogs but what if they dont focus on SEO traffic. Any ideas on how to find them?

    Google them.

Guess, I don't understand your question. Because it's usually not hard to find if you spend some time digging in Google.

Have you tried searching in Alexa? You can search for keywords related to your niche and it will show you websites related to these keywords. Below that is bar that shows how much traffic these sites are getting, obviously the big guys are getting more traffic.

You can purchase one of their products, then you should be added to their buyers list, and can see their email series.

Go to Google and type a keyword phrase for the market you are interested in.

Open the first 10 to 20 websites listed.

The big players who do email marketing should have an opt in form on their home page. If there is no opt in form then they are not big time in email marketing, so ignore them.

Rinse and repeat for other keywords in your market.

This gives you email lists for promoters. For email lists for product owners do the following.

Look at what products are being offered on the above pages. If these products have affiliate programs then the affiliate pages for these products are likely to have email sign up options.

References to affiliate programs are usually at the bottom of the products sales pages.

  • Click on the adwords ads when you google your main keywords. You can also try googling the following:

    Main KW + course
    Main KW + How to
    Main KW + learn

Also, go to clickbank and see what products are competitive, then get on those lists.

Also, when you find blogs in your niche, click on the ads. Even get on small lists that are giving away free reports, they will start emailing you affiliate offers for the bigger lists

It won't take too long to find out who the heavy hitters in your niche are.
