Horrible story - Anybody using itsyourdomain.com (now it is hover.com)

Yes. It is a sad story ... When I started my online ventures in 2001, I unknowingly fell for itsyourdomain.com cheap prices and registered two domains with them. Over the years I have tried many times to move those to another registrar but couldn't succeed. They just disabled authentication keys, client transfer. Well ... got lazy in the process, so I was just renewing both of them while they were with itsyourdomain.com.

Recently itsyourdomain.com was acquired by hover.com (God knows who they are ...) Now I was trying to login all last month. No use. Submitted a ticket. No reply. I am not even sure I can see my domains with them or not. Whois showing I still own domains (Yea... pity, I know, to whois my own domain to see the expiry date)

Hover.com has forums (which is very inactive).
Helpdesk which I can't access and no registration process whatsoever.
No contact phone ...
All above linked to access to main account, which I can't login.
'Forgot password' won't work.

This is really crazy ...

I tried to call their number on whois. Nobody lifts the phone!

So guys and girls, anybody have any domains with them? If yes, what are you doing to contact them.

I sent an email to the email address on their site on April 15. I got this today:

    Hi Radhika,

It seems as though this company (although I'd never heard of them until this thread) is now a division of Tucows.

    Tucows Inc.

It might be worth contacting Tucows and explaining your problems.

I hope that things work out.

    Regards,
    Jeff Henshaw.

In the past, I had problems with contacting Tucows and getting any useful response out of them. But, management has changed since then, and customer service has improved.

I had problems with a couple domains a couple months ago. They had my issue resolved within about 24 hours.

Have I mentioned I love Twitter?

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.
