One probably can name only about 10 classifieds site that actually do get traffic, so sending your ad to 1500 or to the top ten classifieds would bring you almost same result. Craigslist.org and Backpage.com are the top two right now. Best of luck.

I agree. Only 10 or 12 classified ad sites will get you any significant amount of traffic / leads.

CL and Backpage are the 2 main ones. I use those 2, plus the classified ad sites listed here and I outsource a guy on Fiverr to post ads for me.

      Good luck

Classified ad sites are usually quite non-targeted. 100 or 1,000 or 10,000 views will do little for your sales and marketing if those viewers are coming from people that have no interest in what you're offering.

It's better to focus like a laser on individuals that show an interest in what you're offering. It might be 10 or 20 people at a time, but those are the ones that will buy your ebook.

I have used classifieds and have nothing against them . . . but for most offers, they're way down the list for conversion percentage.

There will be a bunch that will provide high traffic, but the majority of that list is unlikely to produce much.

Could take a punt and run a test with them. If you have a conversion, great.

I have used a Fiverr gig from someone who posted in Backpage's top US 50 cities if I remember right (in services section). I see they no longer have their gig up. However when I used that gig I would get 80-90 clicks from their postings which I was happy with cost-wise. I think I may try out some of the others with similar services.

There are a lot of free classifieds sites out there, just like there are tons of free article directories. But anyone in the game long enough will know that there are only a handful that are even worth F'n with. So just stick concentrate on the top free classifieds that actually get traffic like Craigslist, Backpage, Ebay Classifieds, etc.

  • If I do anything though Fiverr, my main focus is the reviews, amount and quality. To check the trusting sources.

Completely agree. CL and BP are leading. If you want other classifieds, you should post in bulk to get some response
