confused newbie on article marketing and article marketing robot

I am a newbie, and I recently finished my website. Most people suggested article marketing.

I recently came across a software "article marketing robot". Should I give this program a try or should I just submit my article to ezinearticles and leave it alone?

No stay far away from AMR. It USED to be great, but that was like 5 or more years ago. All AMR will do for you now is harm your rankings.

No, don't use AMR, you can submit your articles in Ezine, but it will help a little, you need more exposure, find some ezines in your niche and submit your content there also, you will get a lot of targeted people from those sites.

More targeted visitors = More subscribers = more money.

Just submit your article with ezarticle and you will be fine. You may want to try youtube submission too as it has help many warriors with their rankings too.

    No.

Here are some little threads which - between them - explain "why not", pretty clearly.

This is perhaps the key one, for understanding the whole subject of articles, article directories, traffic and backlinks: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

    Much better idea!

But make sure you publish them on your own site first, and let Google index them there, before you submit them to Ezine Articles.

      I hear you. :p

Article marketing isn't much to do with SEO, anyway, really. The only backlinks that really help your SEO much are backlinks from relevant sites, so backlinks from article syndication to relevant sites are worth something, but not worth nearly as much as the relevant traffic that you can get from those sites without a search-engine being your proximal source of traffic. Article directory backlinks are worthless.

Here's a one-post overview of "how article marketing really works".

Personally, I'd advise you not to put too much of your time and effort into trying to attract "organic SERP's" traffic, for two main reasons: first, it's very precarious and makes your business Google-dependent, and any business that's Google-dependent is no more than one algorithm-change away from a potential accident (or even a potential disaster), as so many Warriors have been finding out over the last year or two, some of them to their very great cost; secondly, for me, search engine traffic has been uniformly the worst-converting traffic out of everything I've ever tried in 8 entirely different niches over the whole of the last 4 years - search engine visitors to all my websites typically stay the least time, view the fewest pages, opt in the least often and actually buy anything by far the least often. I admit I do get tons of search engine traffic to all my main sites (just because of all the high rankings I've got, incidentally, from article syndication to relevant sites) but I'd certainly hate to have to make a living from that traffic! :p

Stay away from article marketing robot, you are better off investing your time and energy writing content on your website. Paid directories are old school but they still work, but remember, the bottom line in link building nowadays is keeping your exact match to a complete minimum.

    AMR is no good now.

Where did you see it for $157? Even in 2011 it only cost about $99.
