How can I monetize my subscribers?

Hello warriors and warriorforum, Thanks for helping me in my success!

Long story short!

I have managed to build my email list in IM niche with about 95K subscribers.
I've also split it in buyers list and active list. the partition goes like this!

10% buyers>25% active>65% responsive

Ok, so I'am pretty much satisfied with my buyers and the active list is also buys several times. But the responsive subs are just like visiting and gone. They do not buy anything from my products but just visit and check out what the offer is. And many of them don't even visit.

So I need help with this 65K peoples, how would I monetize them?

as they are not buyers, I cannot sell solo ads. I manage to get 20-30K clicks from them alone. can I use this clicks for PPC or PPV to help people needing traffic? My friends told me to exchange it with valuable subscribers like 20 clicks for one buyer optin. Some even told me to not do anything, one day they will be rich too and surely buy my products. But I want warriors to help me make some good use of it when they are available.

And By the way anybody wants to know how I build this list,

1.got 1000 subs with PPC and solo ads,
2.done adswaps
3.promoted my products,
4.made money and purchased even more solo ads and adswaps.
5.collected my earnings and repeated solo ads that's all.

Help appreciated.

Find a Host with some experience on an IM-related topic and do a Free Webinar. Mail the invite to the list. Make sure the Webinar is QUALITY, and then you can always sell a product or service at the end of the Webinar once you have given value to the people that attend. This is a good way to monetize your list. You can call it Live Training instead of Webinar.

i really like the advice about the webinar. it comes down to providing quality to your subscribers. if they get quality i´m sure they come back. the problem is if you try to "just" sell to people. they will refuse to buy much

A webinar is a good idea simply because you are giving them something free! You can give your subscribers anything for free that will grab their attention but of corse it should have true value!
I think you can promote a free product with a reasonable CPA.
Since its internet marketing, you can offer a free training program. My friend had a similar problem, he is an I.T geek so he developed trading software for his forex niche and he gave it away for freeab the trick is that it had real value to everyone on his list.

Good luck with anything that you try because you will make a way. That is a great number of subscribers by the way. Keep it up!

As I stated above, they are people with empty pockets. I've always given quality content to my list and most of them free. I also have good relations with them. The problem is that they don't have money. When They were asked what was the problem in my personal classes they said they like my products but have no money to buy them. I'am also giving free coaching class to them and they appreciate it. even if I give away the free webinars which I've already given away, they have no money to come back and by it up. the bottom line is I'am helping them but they don't seem to help me.

There are so many affiliate offers you can promote. Try emailing them 2 to 3 times a day. If you've built up a list that big you must be smart enough to think of a way to make money from them.

Have you tried very low cost products, in the $5 to $7 range? Another way might be to break up a product first part free but second part (the needed part) with a price on it? If people want it bad enough they will pay for it! Needs to be good value and have your unique twist on it.

Suggest you also see the thread: Writing profitable emails, some very good info there.

Yep I've tried this to sell low cost products and whoever buys it I moved him to the active list.

Impressing my subs is not the issue here, They always want to buy my products and Appreciate them When I give it away free but the problem is Money here. The're attracted to my products but no money to buy them.

I don't email my list frequently a day to avoid email flood and my Subs wait for my email every weekend, they like this and also ask me what I'am going to offer them next week, I think I'am smart enough to sort out peoples from high profits to low one and yes I'am sending this traffic to some free CPA offers that make me little money. But I want some more profitable ways to make money with them, like a website or squeeze page which want non quality clicks for good money.

Give them relevant and useful content. They’ll look forward to your messages, resulting in increased open rates and trust.
Don’t get too pushy with sales and offers.

Useful Content = always, with no scrap. free too

Open rates = getting them already.

      Trust = have.

pushy with sales and offers = never, You can say I just frequently offer paid products to them. all people here who are on my list can tell you.

Guys, I just want a great way to make some good with them without promoting them offers, Maybe they want some work to make money and whoever got success in it I moved him/her to the active list but there are still thousands of subs which are money less in my list.

It's amazing how many people don't understand that they don't have to be pushy. In reality, if they are offering quality products and services, they don't have to try to manipulate people to make them pay or bomboard them with emails.

Solo ads do NOT guarantee sales. They guarantee CLICKS and nothing more.

I don't like solo ads either because it's a rubbish way to treat your subs and you aren't interested in adsense but you say you've tried everything else and your subs are not interested so you don't have many options.

So is it around 65,000 freebie seekers?

I don't get why you can't sell solo ads because they aren't buyers. Solo ads are sold to people who want subscribers to opt into their list to get a freebie usually so that would be perfect for your subs.

If they won't even buy low priced products then you've not got many options. You could send them to a website with adsense on it and see it they click ads.

Are you able to segment that list further? With information on what they are interested in specifically... you can make more-targeted offers, and see an increase in response. Not only that...

You tend to see an increase in response simply because people aren't as pissed off at you... They are now only getting e-mail that relates to their interests directly... Rather than the "Drinking from a fire-hose" approach to marketing to them.

Most important is to build a good relationship with your subscribers. Invest in a good autoresponder and give them value with each message.

Ok, if they are not buyers, what about thinking about turning them into some type of affiliate? They could help grow your list of buyers, gain $ that they would probably end up spending with you anyway.

Or, you could create some type of system where they promote for you and earn "credit" as an affiliate instead of $ that they can use for products from you.

With 65k people, that is a lot of brain power and feet on the ground that you could use if you start getting really creative.

Thanks for the Idea adam, Maybe some of them have traffic and blogs, I'll setup a affiliate program for one of my products and give them 100% commission, This way I'll get the buyers list from them and they'll get money to buy my products. by Doing this, The both way I'am getting profits. Thanks!

This is what I would do...but I would also combine that with other advice in this thread.

Create a new list...an affiliate list, just for your affiliates.

Then you'll have a list of buyers, a list of afiiliates and a list of dead weight. Cut the dead weight.

Aweber is fine that's not the issue here. The issue is that you're too scared to promote to them in case it harms your relationship with them. If you don't promote something you make no money.....it's up to you!

a list that doesn't buy is useless, what I would do is separate the buyers from the non buyers. Then delete the non buyers.

I would create a really good offer for $7 then promote that to the list for a few weeks, everyone who buys would be put on a list and would be exposed to more expensive offers, and would receive additional value. Cause you can't survive selling $7 offers

The point of the $7 isn't to make money, it's to seperate the buyers from non buyers. DO a survey to see what the majority of the list want's then create your offering based around that.

Really focus on selling it hard, and get the buyers onto one list. Then create a more expensive offering. I one time made $17,000 with a list if 145 buyers

So don't cry if only a few hundred people come over to the new list. Focus on treating them right, then providing good value and making more expensive offerings to them

You might also want to try surveying your subscribers. Ask them what they're interested in learning more about (social media, ppc offers, solo ads, wordpress, etc.). What training format do they prefer (e-book, video)? How much money have they spent on internet marketing materials within the past three months? (You might be surprised to find out that your subscribers may actually be purchasing products from other people. You need to determine if it might be your sales copy/funnel/approach that might be the issue).

It looks as though you may be more comfortable taking the affiliate route.

    Good luck.

      Hello christina!

I've mailed them the questions in the form of yes no answers and got my inbox flooded with replies, Now how can I compile this to a result report where I can see what type of products they like much and what emails from me they hate? I mean I cant just open up every mail to see what they think about my questions, Or do I need to ask it other way like poll or something and aweber offer such a thing?

Resend the survey to them in the format of a Survey Monkey one. That will allow you to collect the data and easily organize it.

Twister I was just reading through some of the emails on this thread and had a few ideas for you.

    1. I know you mentioned you can't sell solo ads because the 65k people on the list aren't buyers. Let me give you a different way of looking at that.

If you have a segment of your list that is not producing any money for you, solo ads are the very best thing for you to monetize them. If you can sell clicks, you will have happy buyers. Most likely there is quite a bit of freebie seekers on the list, but I'm sure there are some people that will buy the right product. Rather than spending all your time focusing on a product they will buy, just sell solo ads and monetize them.

    2. You can always create a mastermind group. This would be a great way of producing residual income for yourself off your buyers list. Set the price at $97 per month, which will give the people that join the group access to your secret Facebook group, and access to you. You can put on weekly conference calls for everyone to get together and share ideas of what they are doing that will provide value to the whole group. If you are able to convert 20 people on your list to join the group, that's an extra 1940 a month in profit from your list.

    3. You can create a membership site. Charge something like $17 per month for access to a members only area. You can provide PLR content to them that will be beneficial to them in their efforts of growing their business. This will be pretty simple and won't take too much time.

I hope these ideas help. Good luck and congrats on growing such a good list. You are doing good things.
