Best niches left for social networking sites

Hello. When thinking of a niche to start a social networking site in eg Elgg, Dolphin, phpFox, SocialEngine etc etc.

What are some currently popular niches for these types of sites?

Also do some niches fit certain platforms better than others? Eg; phpMotion is more a video based platform but also allows blogging and user interactivity. Where as Dolphin or phpFox platforms are offer users more features.

Which one of them is more in the middle and has something for everyone?

      What sort of things do you personally enjoy?

      If you are ever at a loss for a specific niche you should look into always take a quick look around you at whats popular, and ask yourself whats interesting YOU lately.
