Since your target is marketers, you may want to make use of forum posting on WF and maybe odesk/elance.

You missed this forum here. Why don't you wipe out some case and post in WF.

    Warriors For Hire - $20
Warrior Forum Classified Ads - $20
Warrior Special Offers Forum - $40

In addition, there are many IM forums out there that you could advertise your service.

Otherwise, why don't create the videos for yourself and promote it on video sharing site?

Alternatively, you could your social networks to interact with the postential clients, too.

Well what was your traffic plan originally?

You don't create a site and service, spend time and money building it without a plan in place surely?

Identify who your target audience, i.e. type of people, demographics and then find out where those people are and get your content / adverts in front of them.

That's what it sounds like. People do this all the time because they really don't get the basics of IM.

You probably chose whiteboard animations because they have been hot in the IM niche for some time now.

To market a product you need a plan especially online. Otherwise, you are an advertisment on Pluto. You are out there and somebody might stumble across your advertisment but only if they are one of those curious types.

Anyways, research email marketing and list building on this forum using the "search" feature on the red menu bar at near the top of the page. When driving traffic to a new site, I always start with email marketing and list building for serious traffic.

Initial traffic is the hardest to come by in a competitive niche. It requires lots of time or a little money. You will have to make a decision on what works for you.

If you planned wisely and have money to spend, I would use the Warrior Forum sections above that allow paid advertisments as mentioned above.

Bing PPC ads are fine but they still have a significantly lower share of the market than Google.

  • I'd suggest if you start using social platforms like linkedin, twitter and start interacting there. Participate and promote your business in Linkedin groups - you will filtered and relevant traffic in not time - provided you are initiating interesting discussion or posting relevant comments in your business related groups.

I'd strongly recommend FB page too - whiteboard animation and images attract heavy traffic and you can easily promote on IM.

Let me know if that helps!

I've never had any real luck with adWords and Facebook ads. It is such expensive and fleeting traffic.

The best way to market your site is to give away free content and create "word of mouth" advertising. I love WordofMouth.org | We teach word of mouth marketing. for information on that.

That is why I offer the free use with credit option for my music. I also create allot of free eBooks.

Next best is SEO traffic through Google. But SEO eventually drives you nuts, so I just let search happen naturally now.

      Thanks.

I will check out your site to see if i can pick out a few nuggets.

I can do the creative bit but always struggle with getting it in front of people. Thats my problem.

Ive had no joy with facebook ads either.

i think Youtube traffic is a good option there and if you're in for paid traffic
have you tried paid youtube traffic because it's a lot cheaper than adwords traffic,
and for sure social media traffic to.
The paid ads in facebook is also much cheaper to drive to a fanpage than directly to your site..
    Hope it helps
