you pretty much have to have your own site, if you did happen to come across a free site that allowed affiliate links it wouldn't be long before they banned them

I would pass time by continuing to write articles and create content, do as much as you can until you get paid, so when you get paid you can just load up your content and get ready to rock

Only if yo have a good registered site with page rank.

There's a very good reason why so few sites exist where you can post affiliate links. They quickly get overrun with people abusing the site and everyone else on the network then suffers.

I really wouldn't waste your time looking for sites like that where you spend time adding content and links only to have them disappear a week, a month, or a year later. You are much better off building your own sites that will still stand the test of time.

I understand funds are tight but let's face it, a domain and web hosting would set you back about $15. I'm sure you can scrounge that together somehow.

In the meantime you could concentrate on sites like Youtube and getting traffic from there. Once you have your own site built you can drive the traffic from Youtube back over to your own site.

You can't spend $10/month just for the basics? If you can't then go get your priorities right and look for some employment or something to save money.

You can find 0.99c godaddy domains let alone the cheap .info ones. Hosting at hostgator is cheap and you can get your first month free.

How are you using the internet?

I have a feeling you just don't wasn't to commit without seeing seeing a return.

It costs nothing to have your own self-hosted WordPress blogs at places like Freehostia, Byethost and 000WebHost.

In contrast to places like Wix and Weebly, they don't put their own advertising on your pages, when you use them for free hosting, so it looks much more professional.

They'll all give you a free subdomain when you host there, if you want one (though it's better to pay $3/$4 for something like a .info domain-name that you register yourself, elsewhere).

That's putting it mildly. You need to stay away from these Web 2.0 sites where your pages aren't safe. You need to own and control your own site. You don't need to pay anyone anything, to do that. It's not about "what's free" and "what's paid for". It's about "what's safe to use" and "what you yourself own and control".

Start by creating your own FREE website and hosting at wix.com...
When you create your username make sure to include your main keyword so it will help for the search engine ranking.
you will be able to just grab a ready made template for your new site and have as many articles and affiliate links as you want and also a great & professional looking website.. all for free

Hey Thanks everyone! Its not JUST the domain and hosting that Im concerned about, but rather the advertising that goes along with it. I'm including that in the budget costs. If your doing PPC you need @ the very least $100 to do any decent testing on kws. And $100 might even be a little thin

Ya join some Facebook groups related to your topic, and sometimes you can get away with Yahoo Answers but I think they only allow Amazon affiliate links (if that at all)

Your best bet is to create your own site for your affiliate campaigns. It will give you the most customization and will allow you to work on different campaigns without worrying about getting your site shut down.

Back to traffic... I know Youtube will accept affiliate URLS in the description box although I usually shorten them with tinyurl first

Hi - I have been doing the same - out of work - trying to find how to do affiliate marketing. One thing that I saw was, that you can do a you tube video of whatever you are writing about or advertising about and put the affiliate link on that. Good luck.

You should never put your raw affiliate link anywhere. If you get your own website then the free Pretty Link plugin works great. If you don't have your own site then you can use a bit.ly type link shortener.

Both Pretty Link and most link shortener sites also have stats. The one drawback with bit.ly type sites is that they can close the site at any time or they can close your account.

What about Twitter? I wouldn't recommend blasting your link out, but I would recommend creating an engaged audience and recommending the merchants you're promoting along the way.

Start your own email marketing list that you can market your products too and that will do more for you than running around randomly posting links on various sites. That method of hit and run link dropping doesn't really work anyway as most people need to be warmed up to the idea of buying before clicking through to make a purchase.

Nowadays the domain & hosting at a cheap rare, you can take .info domain at really cheap rate. you can take a glance on the godaddy. on the other hand if you want to do all at free of cost. you can choose the blogger.com, it is a google subdomain. if your content is good, you can earn from here also. But if you break the rules & regulation of the blogger, you may banned. so I suggest you to buy a cheap rate domain & hosting. If you use the free service, everyone will treat you as free.

Just get your own site. You're already starting off on the wrong foot by looking for cheap and easy ways to post an affiliate link. What if 3 months down the line the affiliate product owner figures he's not making any money from affiliate marketing, and then totally takes down the page and site altogether...?

You'd be in the crapper. So 3 months of copying and pasting would have amounted to nothing. Get your own site. All you need is the basic stuff. If you need money go give some plasma twice a week.

You can use affiliate links with blogger.

Going back to the "ORIGINAL POST".........

You can write GUEST BLOG posts for popular blogs and leave a link
pointing back to your squeeze page.

I know you want to post affiliate links but this is by far a better LONG term
strategy for making affiliate sales.

For making a quick buck here and there you're better off getting some
part time work either it be online or offline.

But trust me, creating GOOD, SOLID juicy blog posts you can post at
high traffic blogs in exchange for a link back to your landing page or
even better some kind of blog page (free or paid) is the better option.

Building your lists and growing a FAN BASE will make you MORE money
you could have ever imagined if you stick with it.

This is where so many people get things wrong.

They see affiliate marketing as a QUICK dinner ticket.

Anything, any kind of strategy online TAKES WORK!

So I always say you're far better off building a list FIRST.

There are many place where you can post your affiliate link at free of cost. You can use Relevant Forum posting, relevant Blog commenting & So on. Even you can use the Social media site. Today the Social Media sites play an important role in the field of Internet Marketing section. Thanks.

You can post affiliate links on Blogger.com no issues. Even links that Facebook will not allow can be posted on blogger (and then you can link to your post from Facebook...) Actually you can also post affiliate links on Facebook but not the links you get directly from the big affiliate networks.
There are other options out there but if you are looking for free and reliable I think Blooger is the top one. I've been using it for more than 10 years posting my affiliate links there without a single issue.
