Monetizing Traffic with no adsense advertisers

So i've in the process of curating content for a particular interest of mine. There is large traffic in this niche with very low competition.

While the CPC is also high for these keywords, as there are no advertisers? (low competition kw in google keyword tool, low advertiser count on SpuFu and no Serps Ads).

Assuming I can capture this traffic in my site, is the monetization (with adsense) going to be miniscule in light of the lack of advertisers, or will i still get decent money with remarketing and what not?

It depends on a few factors, such as placement of ads, CTR etc. It is still possible to get decent profits if the CTR is high, assuming your traffic is high. The best way to check it out is to go Flippa.com and see if there are related sites that show you the stats.

It is better to have lots of advertisers in your niche. But Google uses tracking now to display ads relevant to the user's behavior.

If there are no advertisers in your niche, users will still see relevant ads to them based on their recent searches and surfing history.

This should be in: Adsense / PPC / SEO Discussion Forum
