To drive more traffic to your site the first and foremost thing is to optimize your site from every aspect so that you don't lose your hard earned traffic. You should have a transparent navigational architecture so that your users can easily find the thing they are looking for. Make your URL structure better, and understandable. Your design should be perfect and very attractive which expresses the service or the product that you are selling through online. You should a have a contact us page so that your visitor can communicate with you. Last but not the least you have to have very high quality, unique and relevant content which your visitors should find interest to read.

The above is about on page optimization, now simultaneously you need to work on off page optimization so that you can build some authoritative link, which in turn will increase the trust rank. But while you start planning your back link building campaign you should keep in mind that Google does penguin update on a regular basis once or twice in a year, so even if you make a good ranking through building those back link but eventually it will be gone after the penguin update, and you will be thrashed to deeper page in search engine result pages. So avoid building poor quality back link which in turn will fetch no value to you.

You have chosen highly competative niche for your blog however you can get trafic by
writing useful content for the people.
Do proper OnPage SEO & then start linkbuilding for your blog
Target some highly search keywords and bring them on 1st page of Google by doing SEO.
Write Guest Post for the blogs relevant to your niche who already have a huge audience.

That's a nice blog you have! One think I would do is make sure you share your blog post on facebook, twitter, google plus, and all of the other social sites. The key to getting a ton of traffic, you can pay for it or you can build backlinks yourself. You have to find others in your niche and post either in the forums, other people blogs. If you need a detail list of all the social site that you can use let me know.

If you're going to spend the time driving traffic, at least drive it to a domain you own.

Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest...etc
Many of WSOs talk about Social Media promo.
You can go choose and buy one read.

This is what I do.....nothing new and boring :

- Autoresponder series and subscribing tools are 100% ready before it's launched
- Forum first ..... for quick traffic and look for idea / problems in the niche
- Guest blogging in giant niche related websites. Outsource if necessary.
- Announce a Press Release in PR websites
- Create Youtube channel, then start commenting ppl's vids on related niche and created a video response in them

When I created my newest blog, it's only 10 views a day, then increased to 20, now it's 50. And the transformation took time 2 months. It's in obscure niche FYI. But if yours only gets 8 views a day, don't be discouraged. Get going!

Well congrats on joining the forum and participating. Most people don't even do the participating part. Like the others have said on this thread, there are tons of ways to get traffic to your blog. For my blog i like to do:

1) Blog and ping

2) Submit to blog directories

3) Submit my blog's rss feed to the rss feed directories

4) Of course twitter and facebook

5) Write EVERYDAY to your blog

6) Forum posting

7) Youtube

8) Social bookmarking

And more, but hopefully you catch my drift. I dont use paid advertising for my blog (but you could - depending on the dynamics of your blog and business). I typically only use paid advertising for my home page. Good luck tho, and dont give up!

Have you tried PAYING your visitors to drag other people to your site. By 'pay', I don't mean MONEY.

Do what you have been doing so far just make it more efficient by outsourcing? You could also look into getting some longtail keywords for SEO? just some ideas.
