Over 1,100 unique visitors daily, whats the best way to find sponsors?

Hey guys, I have a new niche site attracting over 1,100 uniques daily. My niche is very unusual, its about a certain animal, I created it for my nephew a while back.

The AdSense CPC is very low, so I'm not making much from AdSense, this month I have made just over £100 but looking to get much more, soon I will triple my traffic because I have just hit page 1 of Google for another term.

I should be number 1 spot by the end of next month and generating more then 3,000 uniques daily.

I would like to get a sponsor but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I have been on buy and sell ads but they have rejected my site for some unknown reason.

    Don't give away your url if your niche doesn't have much competition. I suggest you sell your own products. PM me if you need help making them.

    When the adsense CPC is very low that tells me one major thing, people aren't willing to buy advertising in that niche, and if that's the case good luck trying to sell adspace

      Without knowing the niche it would be hard to say.
      However you might want to think about Amazon Associates.
      Promoting Books from Amazon about the animal. If your website is a information based website, give people another way to get more information. Make sure to choose the top rated books.

      Low adsense payout = low competition in the market = low opportunity to make money (usually).

    I agree with writeaway about product creation...

    Search Google for your niche's leading experts.... Contact them about doing an interview... make that into an audio product.

    What to include....: Ask you visitors this question: If you had the opportunity to ask a "_your niche__" expert 1 question about "__niche__", what would it be...?

    Then collect the answers in a comment box and ask your expert those things in the interview.

    Every niche has a superstar, so whatever your niche, this shouldn't be hard. You just gotta (NIKE COPYRIGHTED SLOGAN) lol

    Thanks for some of your thoughts, I can't give the site out incase of click bombing and spam. I have also sent an email to some retailers in this niche asking if they would be interested in sponsoring, waiting for some reply's.

    If the animal is a pet, then there are lots of ways to make money from writing your own eBook e.g. how to house train xxxx or from creating an online shop.

    You could also make a sales page where people can list their animal for sale for say $5 - that is if it is a pet.

    If it's not a pet, then I don't think you're going to be able to make much money from adsense, selling ads or any luck getting sponsors, hence the reason it's got little competition and is easy to rank for.

    Affiliate sales might be the way for you to go in this case, if they are looking up animals they might have a pet so make a page 'pets corner' or something similar, ad space can be profitable in that niche.

      Some people may have them as pets, mainly young children, I would imagine my visitors would be young children or maybe teenagers, do you think adding CPA games could get some interest on the site?

      I have looked around Amazon but there is next to nothing to promote except food for them, but tried to promote it and only had clicks, no sales.

      I thought it may have been easier to monetize 20,000+ uniques monthly lol

    If your visitors are young children or teenagers you're not going to make any money are you? These people don't have money to spend or any means to spend it online.

    You may have targeted a niche that doesn't have the ability to spend.

        Check out Quantcast to see the age group and location most searching for your term(s). This has quite a bit to do with ROI when it comes to rare and specific niches like yours.

    I'm not familiar with CPA games. If it's possible to make money off kids playing games then that might be your only option...are kids allowed to complete your CPA offers? I don't do CPA but was always under the impression that it had to be adults.

      I think it can be any age, some CPA offers only look for an email address and a confirm link to be clicked. Iv seen some offers paying over $2 too so I guess it could be an idea.

    Instead of focusing on selling advertising spaces, focus on selling your own products.

    Getting 1100 unique visitors per day is not too bad, you should make money from selling products.

    CPA may be the way to go, here. Micro-targeted niches are like double sided swords. They're great because you can really dominate if there isn't a whole ton of competition, but it's difficult to find advertisers for them.
