I feel like the rate of my affiliate sales to my list is much too high considering the average refund rate of the products overall.

I'm starting to think maybe there's a bunch of moochers on my list buying things to get them for free!

I mean if the overall average refund rate of products and OTOs are like 1 to 5% and normal, yet I seem to get unlucky and get the few people who refund giving me rates like 30% refunds on the handful of affiliate sales I get!

Someone just refunded $180 worth of products they bought all at once in a sales funnel. And then I get another request from a product I only ended up getting 2 sales from with OTOs wanting an $49 OTO refund. I looked and the first sale was already refunded. Therefore giving me a 100% refund rate on a product that has only a 5% total refund rate.

Makes me almost not want to ever recommend anything that even has a refund policy anymore to this list.

Are most people's list much lower in refunds? I only recommend targeted high quality products I like and buy myself. They're good and have usually low refunds etc. : /

There are certain sources that tend to attract moochers. Others purposely get on many notification lists so they can find hot products, buy them, upload to blackhat WSO sites or cracked/nulled software sites, get a refund, rinse and repeat....

Likely, though this is a 100% buyers list from my own product sales, not some freebie list, so I'm surprised by it.

It could also be the products that you're choosing. Are you reviewing them first, or buying them and using them before recommending them? If not, this could be a likely result.

There are a few people out there who like to get things for free, but if you're seeing a lot of this is might be an idea to bring it up with the seller platform to see if they're repeat offenders?

Are you sure the products you are offering are quality? What tends to be the main issue that they think a refund is in order?

You cannot avoid that as there is always like that.
and you call that buyer list. my guess is that they are just freebie seekers that buy and then charges back to get the item for free. If you have a list like that i advice you to get rid of that list as that list will do no you no good really.
