        What is your time worth? Why would you go work for NameCheap for free? So you "might" be able to save a few dollars on a domain name? Only a chump would do that.

        NameSILO is $9 and includes FREE PRIVACY. No Games. They have coupons on their site if that is too expensive for you.

        Plus you can actually pick up the telephone and call them. They are a real business, not just a reseller.

        And for the GoDaddy Bashers. Yes I hate the upsells and games they play. But they are legit and can offer REAL BULK pricing.

        If your business site goes down can you afford to wait around for NameCheap to get back to you and maybe be able to help. Sometimes it's an hour sometimes it's not until the next day.

        Bob Parsons is one guy. He is NOT GoDaddy. I could care less if he went on one trip and shot an elephant a few years ago. The Government of whatever country he shot that Elephant in sanctions the activity and considers it a sport. I don't, but they do. And I'm sure he dumped a pile of money into the local economy there.

        I've been with GoDaddy for more than a decade and never had a reliability problem. NEVER. NameCheap has had many more problems in that time frame, plus they can't really do much about it because they are just a reseller. So anyone who says GoDaddy is not reliable is just blowing wind.

        Everybody sells your information. Everybody. In Fact the FBI can get any information they want from Google and doesn't even need a warrant. If you are online you have ZERO real privacy.

          So far haven't had any of these experiences, and their live chats works just fine, without any waiting time

          Wrong he IS GoDaddy, he is the face of that company so in in terms of representation he IS GoDaddy. And your stating that you couldn't care less about that.. well that only shows what kind of person you are.. people like you are a real price and what the worlds need /sarcasm.

          You happen to be on vacation when basically all their DNS servers went down a while ago? How many million urls where unavailable because of this dumb error again?

          Then lets not talk about their unwillingness to release domains (just google it there are plenty of stories about it) come up with ridiculous extra hidden costs (first hand experience), still that worthless domain manager tool they use. And you are boosting about their support? Don't let me laugh men, I've been in contact with their support plenty of times and first of all most of they have no idea what they are talking about (the people who are 'always available') and then if you need some more knowledgeable people you'll be waiting your 24 - 48 hours.

          Yeah in YOUR country maybe (US of A) luckily this is not the case in every country. There is life beyond your borders mate. And what has google got to do with this? Google was anti SOPA as well, and they are def no pro the fact that the FBI can do this. So your reasoning is.. well we have little privacy already so lets just give up the rest of it as well... again you're the kind of people we need to get moving forward in this world /sarcasm.


          To be clear:
          I'm not advocating NameCheap. There are plenty of other good ones. I for example like and use internet.bs a lot as well (good prices and no US of A jurisdiction over them).

          I'm however very much against Godaddy, their support, their products and their ethics.
