How many Links in a Blog post?

Hi guys

Just wondering how many Links you put into a Blog post. I just started one for SEO of my main site, and some of the articles have lots of links in them like this one:

Essays on Media Bias: Does The Media Really Reflect The Voice Of The Common Man In Contemporary Democracies? | Essay Writing Tips

Does having lots of links in one post have a positive/negative effect on SEO?

if you are making sure you are sending them out for trackbacks it is a good thing. Because the sites will normally link back to you for sending people to that site. What I do myself is I will break up anything with more then 5 links in it and post multiple post instead of placing all the track backs in at once.

All the links really just link to either Blogposts on the same Blog (but on a different topic) or to the main website. None of them go to other sites so far.

Do the links get "credit" from google if the same posts links multiple time to the same location?

  Yes actually do this go to google and type link:yourblogpostlink that will give you a list of everything linking to that page

  I just did that and found that the post above is not in google did you ping it heavely after you posted it and is your sitemap set so that your /blog folder set to changing daily first go to yahoo it looks like you just started that blog so most your pages might not be showing links in google yet but yahoo will be then make sure your sitemap says daily for your blog all else fails go here and check link popularity Link Popularity - Backlinks Checker Tool
