hello there warriors,

credit cards usually have a spending limit per day (mine is not so high) so i'd like to know how do you pay for aweber when your list gets big? do they charge the monthly fee from your credit card in 2-3 payments at different dates or all at once?

if the latter, suggestions on how to get around that are also welcome.

Thank you.

You should be converting a decent number of sales for that to be a factor, in which case you'd probably have a decent credit limit on your business credit card.

They charge all at once, but as Martin said, if your Aweber has that many subscribers, then you should be making the money to cover it.

I am not worried about having the money to pay for the service, I know list building is a great biz. My worry is that due to the credit card's daily spending limit, they are unable to charge the fee and suspend the service, which would affect me a lot.

In all my years using Aweber, I've never had this problem, even with lists over 100k.

If the issue does come up there's an easy fix for this, simply contact your financial institution. I'd strongly recommend getting a business credit card and only use that credit card for business expenses only. It will make your accounting a whole lot easier.

Your best option is to contact your credit card company and ask them to raise your limit for just the day or a specific time limit for you to make the purchase. They will still need to review your credit history though before they make a decision. You can also ask them what options you have and what they suggest on what you should do.

I believe the best option would be to keep your card balance at zero. Then you do not need to worry about it. You really don't want to pay those outrageous fees anyway, right? Now, I do realize that sometimes this may not be possible so what I do is to make sure my highest monthly expenses (my mortgage payment in my case) is not charged to my card (I have this payment automated on a monthly basis) until my incoming funds (my paycheck) have already been added to my account. Therefore I always have enough funds in my account to cover my expenses. Hopefully you have enough assets coming in each month to do this... If not, then I would work real hard on developing a responsive buyers list so this becomes a none issue. Good luck....

Get a better credit card, use your debit card, and make money from your list. The more TARGETED leads you get, the more money you will make. So if you approach the limit of where you're getting so much subscribers that Aweber will charge you more.... you should have more than enough money to pay for it - if you're selling to your list the right way, and if they are targeted leads.

You can switch payment before it's due. Toss a debt card with the funds on it to keep it going.

But honestly, if your list is so big that you think you are going to be paying too much to keep it going then you are not properly monetizing your list.
