first thing first, i am not newbie not pro. YOu can consider i just passed newbie stage. I am basically one man army , but seeming i will hire some one if i can earn some more money from my online business. But, problem i am facing that as whenever i am sick or busy with another job, my online business is just stopped for a period of times . it is one day to couple of days.

In that scenario i really do not find what to do......

You need to automate and systematize your business. That's what I've done. Believe me, it works! It's the only way to grow.

Jeez, how about you write in complete sentences? It's really hard to take someone seriously when their writing looks incoherent and all messed up. You know what I'm saying?

I find it's best to hold off on this type of thought process until you know where the poster is from and what their native language is.

Also, there are several types of things one can do on the internet that don't require a complete grasp of proper English ie: graphics work...

I try to, Jill. I really try to. I know that being fluent in English isn't necessarily a requirement for every business model. However, I do know that the ability to communicate effectively, is a requirement, no matter what language one speaks.

Automate your list building by using an autoresponder. Create an email series that will be sent out automatically so you don't have to worry about short term absences.

Automate you orders. You shouldn't have to lift a finger except for any chargebacks.

Otherwise, you need to outsource the work to someone. If you are used to doing things yourself, you may find it challenging to manage a VA.

Being your own boss has a lot of advantages however being sick might be a problem. You do not have anyone to work for you. You can try hiring people. If you are worried about how much it will cost you then you should bear in mind that sales is always an investment.

    Hi,

On this matter, you will really need a virtual assistant who has a knowledge in IM. And by the way, I'm a virtual assistant and I can help you with your online business while you're busy or asleep.

Outsorcing or hiring a virtual assistant that has knowledge in your market will be beneficial. There will come a point in your business where you have to seriously consider it though because you will have to decide between working IN your business or working ON your business.

  • Well, it's pretty conclusive you need a virtual assistant to help you when you are sick or IM inactive because of the need to work a separate job.

Good luck. It should work out for you with a little nudge from a VA.

Most of the writers here are right. It's time you got yourself a VA. What I would suggest is automate what you can in your business and give the "buttons with instructions" to your VA. Share work if need to. Get some loose time for yourself while you can organize your thoughts and decide how to take your business to higher levels.

What about a joint venture which will make things grow bigger and better and both ways you win as, if you have a partner and you share and grow with two heads rather than one. Now the only question is, as long as both the heads are thinking alike and being honest to each other may bring good success. Just my thought.

    Best regards,

Before you hire a virtual assistant I'd automate things as much as possible. Also on days you're working you can create content (like for blogs or twitter or facebook) and then schedule it to be posted later. You can get a few weeks of work done in a couple days, then not have to worry about if you have to take some time off.

I'd wait to get a virtual assistant for a while. This could cost you time, because you'll need to make sure they are trained to do what you need. You also can't have them do everything, some things you'll not want another person to do for you.

You need to flow out a clear plan that includes what type of
business you are trying to build. Include all of the steps you
will need to accomplish to get there.

Break the bigger steps into smaller step that you can accomplish
in say an hour or two.

Then take things one step at a time... realizing that with a
regular job, it is simply going to take time.

When you have a little extra money, outsource the things that
you are not good at doing to speed things up a little.

Stick with you plan, realizing that it's just going to take time!

  • Outsourcing your work to a VA would be challenging at first, but it will eventually give you freedom to take as much time off as you need. That is one of the perks of being your own boss =)
